We often see this deal on Game of Thrones from various European sites around this price but rarely are the boxsets discounted in the UK, so at today's exchange rate this works out just shy of £40 so fantastic deal.

Season 1
Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun. It will stretch from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues; to the vast and savage eastern lands; all the way to the frozen north, where an 800-foot wall of ice protects the kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all will play the 'Game of Thrones.' A new original series based on George R.R. Martin's best-selling 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series.

Season 2
The Battle continues in Westeros with feuding families and power hungry rulers. Five Kings vie for a single, all-powerful throne in the all-new season of Game of Thrones – an epic story of duplicity and treachery, nobility and honour, conquest and triumph. Season 2 plays out against the backdrop of a fast-approaching winter. In King’s Landing, the coveted Iron Throne is occupied by cruel young Joffrey, counseled by his conniving mother Cersei and uncle Tyrion. But the Lannister hold on the Throne is under assault on many fronts. There’s Robb Stark, son of the slain Lord of Winterfell, Ned Stark; Daenerys Targaryen, who looks to shore up her depleted power through three newborn dragons; Stannis Baratheon, eldest brother of the late King Robert; and Stannis’ brother Renly, who has maintained his own claim since fleeing King’s Landing. In the meantime, a new leader is rising among the wildlings North of the Wall, adding new perils for Jon Snow and the Night’s Watch. With tensions and treaties, animosity and alliances, Season 2 of Game of Thrones promises to be a thrilling journey through a riveting, unforgettable landscape.

Season 3
In Season 3, family and loyalty will be the overarching themes, and many critical plot points from the first two seasons will come to a violent head, with several major characters meeting cruel fates. While a primary focus continues to be on King’s Landing, where the Lannisters barely held onto power after a savage naval onslaught from Stannis Baratheon (brother of the late king), stirrings in the North threaten to alter the overall balance of power in Westeros. Robb Stark, King of the North, will face a major calamity in his efforts to build on his victories over the Lannisters in Season 2, while further north, Mance Rayder (new character, played by Ciarán Hinds) and his huge army of wildlings continue their inexorable march south to scale the Wall. Across the Narrow Sea, Daenerys Targaryen – reunited with her three deadly, fast-maturing dragons – attempts to raise an army of slaves to sail with her from Essos, in hopes of eventually overthrowing the Iron Throne.

Season 4
As Season 4 begins, the Lannisters' hold on the Iron Throne remains intact in the wake of the Red Wedding slaughter that wiped out many of their Stark nemeses. But can they survive their own egos as well as new and ongoing threats? Meanwhile, an unbowed Stannis Baratheon continues to rebuild his army; the Lannister-loathing ‘Red Viper of Dorne,’ Oberyn Martell, arrives at King's Landing for Joffrey's wedding to Margaery Tyrell; Daenerys Targaryen and her dragons and unsullied force aim to liberate the largest Slavery City in the east...with long-range plans to take back the Iron Throne; and a depleted Night's Watch faces the advance of Mance Rayder's wildling army, who are in turn running from the undead White Walkers.

Season 5
After the shocking deaths of S4, the season begins with a power vacuum that protagonists across Westeros and Essos look to fill. At Castle Black, Jon Snow struggles to balance the demands of the Night’s Watch with those of newly-arrived Stannis Baratheon, who styles himself as the rightful king of Westeros. Meanwhile, Cersei scrabbles to hold on to power in Kings Landing amidst the Tyrells and the rise of a religious group led by the enigmatic High Sparrow, while Jaimie embarks on a secret mission. Across the Narrow Sea, Arya seeks an old friend while a fugitive Tyrion finds a new cause. And as danger mounts in Meereen, Daenerys Targaryen finds that her tenuous hold on the city requires some hard sacrifices.

Season 6
Following the shocking developments at the conclusion of season five, including Jon Snow’s bloody fate at the hands of Castle Black mutineers, Daenerys’ near-demise at the fighting pits of Meereen, and Cersei’s public humiliation in the streets of King’s Landing, survivors from all parts of Westeros and Essos regroup to press forward, inexorably, towards their uncertain individual fates. Familiar faces will forge new alliances to bolster their strategic chances at survival, while new characters will emerge to challenge the balance of power in the east, west, north and south.

Season 7
As the season begins, Daenerys Targaryen, accompanied by her Unsullied army and emboldened by Dothraki/Ironborn allies and her lethal trio of dragons, has finally set sail for Westeros with Tyrion Lannister, her newly appointed Hand. Jon Snow, memorably reanimated in S6, has apparently consolidated power in the North after his spectacular conquest of Ramsay Bolton in the “Battle of the Bastards” and the return of Winterfell to Stark control. In King’s Landing, Cersei Lannister, bereft of any surviving heirs, has successfully seized the Iron Throne by using wildfire to incinerate the High Sparrow and other foes in the Sept of Baelor. But as these and other factions drive inexorably towards new alliances or (more likely) violent conflicts, the cold specter of another, apocalyptic threat – in the form of an army of undead White Walkers expected to breach The Wall and invade the South – threatens to undermine the status quo and obliterate the outcome of these smaller, alltoo-human rivalries.

Don't see the point in buying an incomplete story when the entire series will be available later this year.

It really annoys me when people make such silly (on the verge of stupid) …It really annoys me when people make such silly (on the verge of stupid) comments. What happens when they release 1-8 season next year and people buy the box set and then there is season 9 in the making? Or mission impossible or terminator or Jurassic Park or fast and the furious for that matter. There will most likely be additions all the time to any series or movies. If you live in a fear of buying incomplete sets then don't buy anything at all.Just stream it online. Just saying

When it’s a show still running your argument is correct, however when it’s been announced that the next season is the final one, then why not wait until you can purchase it in its entirety in one complete set? As I said, this is a good price, probably because demand for it is waining as fans await the future release of the complete story ( probably with new additional extras) in around a year or so. That is most likely what siak1 was referring to, so why is that silly just because his, and my opinion is different from yours?

£5.62 each. Brilliant price especially as it's buleray

Is that a new format?

The next season is the last season

no guarantees of that. The may somehow make a prequel season(s). These days you never know. Who knows they may make a series or a season in modern times (2050)

Not sure about your maths.

It's Not very good , thank you but at the time of the post it was quoted at £39.34 if I'm not mistaken. It looks as though you've came into the conversation a bit late in the day. Lol

Only season 6 & 7 is Dolby Atmos the rest of the seasons are DTS-HD 5.1 infact the french version as more soundtracks than the English UK version as I'm aware... However you need an Atmos amp & speakers to support Atmos...

If its to watch the full whack before the final series comes out in April; you can pick up 2 months NowTV entertainment subscription for about £5.
Buying a £45 incomplete box set for this purpose just makes no sense.
I'd rather pay the extra myself to have English writing all over the box. The things some people are willing to accept just to save a few quid...
Mine arrived last week and we're nearing the end of season 2 now.

I can confirm that other than the box being in french, the disc simply launched in English and played as expected. Loads of extras as you'd expect from a bluray....

So you'd pay an extra 30 quid just for feeling a bit Ukip'ish... hahah

It has been confirmed by the producers and pretty much everyone involved with the production that the series finishes with these final episodes. Any spin off series will be a separate entity so the comments aren't "on the verge of stupid."
I could never buy this box set, knowing that the final series will be released on Blu Ray later this year, and with it a complete Seasons 1-8 set.

Maybe if it was ridiculously cheap, like £10, I would buy it, enjoy watching them, then replace the set later in the year with the complete one.

I really annoys me when people make such silly (on the verge of stupid) comments like yours. It's very well known that Season 8 will be the final season. Nobody is talking about Mission Impossible or Terminator or Jurassic Park on this thread. We are talking about GoT - which we know for a fact is ending at Season 8, which is why it's worth it to a lot of people to wait for that final Season 1-8 complete box set.

Can you bet your life to confirm that it will be last the season and that they will never make anymore of these?

And next time you want to reply to someone then use your own words.

I`ll bite at £17.99

Can you bet your life? What is this? A primary school playground? How old are you?

And everybody involved in the show, the creators, HBO, the author, have confirmed it's the final season. Heck, it's even advertised as "The Final Season" in the trailers. That seems to be a pretty strong basis to assume that the 1-8 box set, will be the complete box set. But hey, I'm sure you know better than the people that actually make the show.

If you can't trust pirates to do a good job who can you trust. So yeah I might just buy these on Blu Ray as it does seem rather good.

As said above, NowTV will have the old seasons in March, or, what I did a few years ago, was buy season one from CEX, watch and trade it in for season 2 and so on. Think we watched the first four seasons for not a great deal and then switched to NowTV 'live' from season 5.

Is he your little friend?
Not sure about you guys, but I'd rather wait for Seasons 1 - 8 which will no doubt rear its head closer to the end of this year. However, for those wanting to bite now, this isn't a bad price considering the amount of content you're getting.
Anyone else waiting for 4k releases? I brought season one and it looked incredible, can't justify buying this when i know I'll eventually pick up the 4k releases when they eventually roll them out. I'm guessing xmas 2019 when our post GOT blues sets in

When you think about it though you would have to binge watch it on NowTV at £7.99 a month & considering NowTV only offers 720p resolution & no surround sound, it's so much better to buy the Blu-ray's, it will take you a while to watch each series in full, unless you binge watch excessively... With the Blu-ray's you can watch whenever plus a massive array of special features... I say this because if you enjoy a series so much you will have only go out and buy it anyway, when I was with NowTV and watched a few boxsets which I enjoyed, I still purchased the Blu-ray's purely because of the far superior picture quality & surround sound.
Want to get a digital version of this at 4k for all the seasons when it comes out in a year or twos time for under £100, can wait and would probs buy, 4k of this series would be glorious.

The 4K version will be amazing yes, I think it will take a great deal of time to re-master into 4K though, so we may not see the 4K equivalent for a year or more...if ever, personally I would buy the 4K physical media with blu-rays, I think it would be truly astonishing as it is on blu-rays.
