Cheap headset usually are pretty rubbish, also just to note this has the old fashioned Puck attachment for the controller meaning it will not work with chatpads. Puck I have found is also very flimsy compared to the newer non puck style.

cheap for a quick replacement headset, but i wouldn't be surprised if it needed replacing after a few months (or weeks!)

had 2 of these now,and they didn't last more that a few weeks:(

I had one of these and it ended up in the bin . Completely useless for gaming as you can only hear chat and not the actual game itself. If you only want to talk to your friends then you will have no problem.

um isn't that the idea?!

More expensive Turtle Beach ones plug into your TV so you get stereo game sound too - which can give you a critical advantage in FPS's. That's why they are so expensive.

This sort on one has no advantage over the standard Xbox one you get with your console except they go over both ears.

We've had a couple of these, on the first set the jack broke - which I blamed on the kids messing about , the second set only lasted a couple of weeks - the wires are really flimsy and don't put up with kids very well - probably ok for adults who look after things properly

Seem to be 54p cheaper now at £4.45 Delivered

bought one and it didn't work. Waste of money.

I seem to have accumulated three or four headsets without ever buying one specifically - they usually chuck them in with any bundle just to inflate the price! Can't see how anyone would need this deal, to be honest.

Not for a gaming headset, no...

Had to vote cold, sorry. The price is okay I suppose, but I'd probably only consider these if I saw them in poundland.

I have one of these and has lasted a year so far, but as posted above all you get is chat so have to leave an ear uncovered for hearing the game

Not if you can't hear the blinking game through the blinkin ear padding it doesn't

The games audio still comes out of your TV.These are just to hear the other players voices.

Doesn't the one that comes with the xbox just do that? isnt THAT a gaming headset? doesn't the official wireless one just do that? isnt THAT a gaming headset? I dont want to listen to the xbox in frickin stereo. Otherwise i wouldn't have it linked to a surround amp. Same with PC i dont want to listen to the game in my ears as i have surround systems, if i use my headset its just to chat. And i dont do that on xbl cos i dont want to listen to some annoying 6yr old yank in delaware making stupid noises and singing and i also dont care for racist redneck homophobes either. So I wouldn't use it either way.

what I said to the other dude....

apologies i see what your saying now! sorry i'm still half asleep. yes the twin cans would make still hearing the game hard....

I've had this exact same headset for the past 6 months. Never had a bother with it and sound quality is surprisingly good. Well worth a fiver.

i paid cheaper on ebay and it borke fast, buy a better one is my advice

This item is a load of s***. Mine broke within a few days. In my opinion I would pay extra for the official mic or save up more for the gaming headsets.

Please don't buy this and after wearing it for more than half hour it hurts.

I have one of these,ok I suppose but yeah 30mins of wearing it n thats enough.lasted me for a few months, quality is quite poor, worth about 3 quid
