About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Realise this is pretty low spec and certainly not for everyone, but it's the cheapest 'gaming' laptop I've seen for a while if you can get the £200 trade in (works out £449 if so)

With a separate graphics card, I've not seen much under £500 recently, albeit this is older tech.

  • Windows 11 Home
  • AMD Ryzen™ 5 5600H
  • 8 GB RAM
  • 256 GB SSD
  • 40.9 cm (16.1 "), FHD (1920 x 1080), 144 Hz, 7 ms response time, 250 nits, 45% NTSC
  • NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1650 (4 GB)

£449.99 with £200 Trade-In Offer (see details below)

Cheers, nice comment. It's not for everyone, but the spec for the price seems pretty decent.

Been looking for a few days for a laptop for my son for around £500 to play basic games (Steam, Minecraft, Roblox), a bit of homework and some video editing and this seems fairly good for £449.

Just need to find a cheap old PC/Laptop to trade in thats under 6 years old

Since both the RAM and SSD can be upgraded, this looks like a respectable laptop for the price

Yes, that’s what I was thinking. Annoyingly it‘s 2 x 4GB memory, so you’d have to replace both rather than adding, but not too much extra and could potentially sell on the others I guess.
Very tempted to go for it.

The one with a 3050 for £80 is worth the upgrade for some, has a single stick of 8gb installed so you could add a second.

agreed, much better overall I think

few deals on for now with similar spec/performance out there 549£ amazon.co.uk/ASU…-31 or medion with 12th gen cpu with rtx 3050 for 700£.. still pricey imo for those interested

Yeah, I have a kids birthday tomorrow, so had to get something
This one is £449 with trade in, so £100 cheaper than that Amazon one you linked, but if 10th Gen Intel is better than this 5500H CPU, then good for some.

I know it’s pretty rubbish spec if you’re wanting high end games, but I haven’t seen a brand new “gaming” laptop for £450 for quite a while.

I actually went for the 3050 model for £80 more - £529 (got it for £493 with a discount) in the end.
