Seen this deal! Amazing Price! I put all the same parts on a build on pc part picker, using the cheapest motherboard and case and power supply and it came to £770 and that is with out windows. For someone who doesnt want to build a PC this is perfect.

Cheaper on ebay from Argos £744.99 inc delivery (although the listing pictures are very wrong!)
here

I got one of these on Sunday from Argos eBay, I am very impressed, it does use a bespoke motherboard make which I believe are made solely for Medion. Same with the graphics card but it's not a blower design it has a basic dual fan design.

It does OC mildly, I have got just over 13k on Firestrike without breathing on it too much. Gets 12600 out of the box.

Fitted a MX300 SSD and it flies now. There is an M.2 slot which appears to take all three sizes.

Can't see the mobo or psu but this looks decent for the money.

It is a decent deal especially with ram prices these days but no SSD

Medion have always been good quality and value for money, they used to regularly sell out in Aldi, but everything was squeezed in to the box so were a pain to upgrade

Why dont these come with a wifi card built in?

It's not part of the motherboard feature set (tends to be on very expensive gaming boards). You'd need to get a USB WiFi adapter. Personally I've set up a set of powerline adapters which work really well.

Okay build but the CPU doesn't appear to be to the same standard of the other parts...

Many of the components will easily surpass the recommended requirements of current AAA titles but certainly not the CPU, which is probably good enough for today, but going forward...

It'll be a great 1080p machine which saves the hassle of building up a PC. I have built my last 7 gaming rigs but I went for convenience this time because it was a great price and later down the line when 4k HDR is normal in gaming monitors with decent refresh rate then I'll build a hefty 1180/1280 rig but for now 1080p on ultra will do the job and you won't find much that this won't play on ultra at 60fps.
Because of the consoles new life cycle I'd imagine this will be fairly current till the next gen which will pave the way with new graphics engines etc.

Oh so it doesn't come with a wireless card? The listing says "Features:Built-in Wi-Fi Adapter". That's very misleading.

It's an incorrect listing that box seems to have copied from Argos who say on their Q&A it's wrong but haven't fixed it!

Did you manage to swap over the windows 10 OS from the existing HDD? Thinking of doing the same but think it may be a bit of a challenge!

Yes absolutely fine, you need to un-install McAfee first (which I'd advise regardless) then grab a free program called EaseUS Todo. There is a dedicated mode to migrate the OS to SSD. Took about 30 mins to run the migration.

Shut down then change the boot order in the BIOS to the SSD. Was refreshing to see a fully fledged BIOS and not a cut down mess.

Formatted the HDD and it's all been running seamlessly since.

Nope on that program it offers dynamic or forensic sector by sector transfer, just stick with the dynamic option and all will be well.
