Not to be pedantic, but it does say with good reason. Assuming you're getting one of those for hiking/camping, that shouldn't be too much of a deal.

Exactly. Plod wouldn't be too impressed if you had it in the pub on a Saturday night but if you were geared up in hiking gear they wouldn't have an issue.

if you had all the gear you would double up your UK legal carry Victorinox Champ with this much bigger locking offensive weapon. The prosecution barrister would slice up your defence and have you for breakfast cooked over a camp fire.
Never heard of the company...Are they ok? seems a lot of cheap posts

Are you constantly getting stopped by the police or something? Most people aren't -- and as the link says, it's legal if you have a good reason. That's all there is to it.
quite legal .... always have one when fishing ,shooting
just use common sense like don't go around the supermarket with it in your pocket .......

I sincerely hope that you are never stopped whilst going about your lawful business being peaceful.
however I would suggest that not all policeman wake up from the right side of the bed every morning... and you may find all your excellent and lawful reasons being dismissed. Unfortunatly this happens more than it ever should. And for some people even more.

It's called humour. You're clearly not old enough to remember the old scout type knives which were far more sturdy and practical than this.
I bought a variant of this for £1 from Poundland a while back for garden use, and it's ok for that. I can't see that this type of knife would be much use for camping/hiking as it's too light to be much use for Grylls/Mears imitators.
A sheep's foot blade is far sturdier and more suited to outdoor pursuits. This things a stabbing knife.

I would never post anything on here that promoted violence or simply for kicks - I did a bit of reading before I posted this and was surprised at the glowing reviews it got. I know quite a few men who are into fishing, camping, even mountaineering (in his youth anyway!) and posted with them in mind. The Youtube reviews below compare the Ganzo to much more expensive paramilitary-style knives and they reckon it's the best budget option out there.

Sorry if I've offended anyone, it wasn't my intention.
Back to the subject of the knife and not the ned who's carrying it. Tiz a good knife for your pocket and strong. Good post.

Absolutely no offence taken. But "paramilitary-style knives" says it all. This is a more practical outdoor knife.

Because the majority of stabbings in londinistan don't involve ordinary kitchen knives. It makes not a jot what the knife is described as, it's a knife that does sweet fa. The person using it on the other hand.

A pencil is a stabbing tool in the right hands. Ban them!!
I live in Glasgow (right next to the city centre), which was the murder capital of Europe at one point, depending where you read the info. Stop and search does happen, but it tends to be those "known" to the police or acting shiftily - and they need to have good justification to do so.

Violent people will always find a weapon and an outlet, I posted this Deal with only good intentions

You're missing my point entirely. I'm well aware of the dangers of pencils having been stabbed in the back of the hand with one. What I'm saying is that the knife shown isn't the best for the job.
This is going to turn into a REALLY interesting conversation soon, I bet.
