Combining two deals if you have an Amex card you can get 30% off at Gap this weekend and Monday, plus an additional £15 back.

1.) Register your Amex card for £15 off a spend of £50 or greater - enroll.amexnetwork.com/GB/…Gap

2.) Sign up for the Gap.co.uk news letter, or copy the voucher in the first reply to this post for 30% full priced items instore or online until the end of Monday.

For those using the online option for the voucher code, a bit of added clarification - visit gap.co.uk and you'll get a pop up in the middle of your screen to sign up to the news letter. It'll reference getting 15% off, but the email you get sent through gives you a unique 30% off code.

3.) Instore or online select full price goods for £71.50 or more.

4.) At the checkout show the voucher on your smartphone instore or use the voucher code you received via email online. (Use Quidco or Topcashback online also). This will reduce your spend by 30% - the important bit is to keep the total above £50 after the discount so you qualify for the Amex cashback. E.g.

£71.50 - 30% (£21.45) = £50.05

5.) Then pay for the balance (£50 or above) on the Amex card - that will qualify you for the £15 credit statement that should show up on your statement, typically in <1 week. That brings your overall total to £35.05 in this example.

Related to this, the full Amex London Fashion week deals are linked below. Credit to gulz for these...

• For any purchase of six or more items in a single transaction an additional 20% discount will be applied to the total purchase

* For online transactions my cashback at TCB tracked as a percent of the value BEFORE the 30% was taken off. No guarantee as usual that it will get paid out, but a good start.

Thanks. Hope it gets hot enough for people to notice and take advantage off before the end of Monday if interested.

As an online example...

I went through TCB at 7.07% - of course as usual that's not guaranteed, especially as combining another voucher code (although has now tracked on the full amount prior to the 30% off, so showing as £5.29)....

* Original cost = £74.90

* Cost after 30% off voucher = £52.43 (so qualifies for free shipping and Amex deal as over £50)

* Cost after Amex £15 statement credit = £37.43

* Cost after potential 7.07% TCB = £32.14

Cashback confirmed as tracked - and it tracked on the full amount prior to the 30% discount, so shows as £5.29. Not sure if it'll get denied later due to the voucher or not.

Good deal morgie! Heat added. 2x orders done!

Nice, glad it's proving useful!

Steaming Hot. Went to GAP today and got £95.68 worth of kids clothes for £38.58 (this is including my £15 credit to Amex card). I bought sale items, which I was informed were not included in the offer, but when I have just checked my receipt the discount was taken off, and. I got an extra 20% off, because I had bought more than 6 items. If. I included the original price of my sale items the savings would be even more. Tempted to go back tomorrow.

Thanks Morgie. Great offer. Needed to stock up on some clothes for the kids. Wish I'd seen it earlier so I could've taken advantage of the in store discounts too. Going to place 2 x £50 orders tomorrow

Last day today. Hopefully there may be a similar discount in the next few weeks while the Amex deal is still on, but 30‰ is pretty good for Gap.

I heard the Amex deal for 15 pound off is instore only?

The voucher states "NEW COLLECTION".....I had figured this meant only a subset of stock?
I am just after a couple of paris of jeans - you think this will work?

Hi, you said "or copy the code below" - am I missing it? I've read the comment a few times, but don't see it.

Great deal. However I can never normally find anything decent in Gap. I think that store is overrated.

Scorching hot though if you can find something you want!

Lifetime's worth of underpants *purchased*.

No worries. Yeah, I meant the pic for use in store, but signing up to the newsletter at gap.co.uk to get a unique code for use online. You're trying to use online right?

Thank you. Bought a pair of cargo trousers and a merino sweater. Will come in at £40 once all the discounts and cashback are applied which is great value. Loved an old pair of Gap cargos which lasted me years.

Voted hot, op. (_;)

Thanks, another £48 I didn't need to spend although £87 before codes & amex so good deal (not inc. quidco)!

Yep, just proved my own point.

Saw some quite nice looking things on their website, so decided to go and take a look in store at lunch. Garments were badly fitting and felt pretty poor quality. Certainly worse quality than they used to be.

It's a shame. H&M quality/fit with an extra 50% added on to the price.

Would be interested to know what would happen to the £15 Amex cashback if I return any items and so then the total falls under £50?

You probably wouldn't be interested..... Amex are quite sharp at removing credits in these circumstances.

I must agree too, their quality has gone downhill. I got DH a t shirt a few weeks back and after one wear the neck was all baggy, it hadn't even been washed, its going back to their store tomorrow.

My local GAP (Trafford Centre) also had all women's trenchcoats for £35 each on Sunday 07/09 - original prices £60 - £70. Didn't know I wanted one till I stepped in the store. Bet they've still got some left today - no extra discount on these but half-price isn't bad.

To be fair, while I love GAP merchandise, I very rarely buy at full price. They discount everything quite quickly and the deals are sometimes amazing.

Excellent combo...

Was about to buy 2 pairs of jeans for total £85 but a top tip is buy 2x mens single socks + 2x women's socks for extra £18 = £103 less 20% for 6 items = £82.50, then 30% =£58 -£15 AMEX.

So better to add socks to purchase as works out few pounds cheaper. ..

Hot combo deal.....

I only had 30% off the full price clothes and no extra money off for buying more than 6 items either in Cardiff. I think I'll be taking a few things back tomorrow to just take advantage of the Amex offer...

Sorry to hear - all full price items? Sure you already have, but you might want to work out if overall you're better off today, or tomorrow (when Amex deal is still valid, but 30% off isn't....maybe something else will come up though).
