Shame no free delivery code
Do you happen to know if this will be in store? Was gifted a £50 gift card which can only be used in store.
Not much worth getting IMO, Uniqlo are far better for essentials in price and quality. £35 will get you a decent pair of jeans from Uniqlo.

If this was off everything (including sale) , it'd be fantastic, but this just brings items closer to their actual value (unless there's some amazing product they sell I'm unaware of).

T&Cs say some stores will only be 40% off and not valid in GAP Outlets.

It was in stores on previous Black Friday's. So maybe it will be on the day. I know many items are already discounted up to 50% in stores but some things were not. Yesterday I managed to get 50% off everything in stores but that was because I was signed up to their emails. So, what you want may already be discounted in store. Worth checking and I would sign up to their emails in case they send another one of the same offer. You simply have to show them the email at the checkout.

Is it me or is everyone doubling their price then slashing it by half back to its original price for black Friday with a big flashy sticker of “50% off”...

I've no doubt that is happening in places! I can vouch that in GAP the prices are not increased just for black friday as I often shop online or in their stores. They do always have sales on though! So I rarely buy something full price.

Funnily enough I was looking at a hoodie on Gap last night. I can't remember the exact price but it was in the 30s yesterday and it's £45 today.

Was it in a sale? As they've been running a sale for days but not everything was reduced. The £45 it's at today would get reduced in the checkout by 50% -- It is true that they have so many sales it can be confusing. I'd love to know if others can vouch for the original prices not increasing as these are on the tags, but I'm sure that's been my experience. I purchased things in store yesterday and there was parity with original pricing.

I don't know to be honest with you, I was just looking for a grey hoodie on Google Shopping so came to it that way. It's still cheaper today with the 50% off code than it was yesterday.

BTW - just used the Honey extension in Chrome and the code LGT71G9VTDFQ took another quid or so off. Using that would probably stop you getting cashback, though.
Cashmere smartphone gloves and matching hat for under £30. Nice
I could confirm that they upped prices on some items. I bought an item two weeks ago for £20, suddenly its now £24.99.

I had been looking at a scarf in another shop and it was down to £12.50 before. Same store doing selected 50% off and scarf now £26.00. I think this year has been rather disappointing as I got some great deals last year.
What a flaming con! I only logged in a few days ago and there were loads of sales items. I added some men's t-shirts to my basket and didn't get round to buying them. Guess what? They are now full price, in fact I can hardly find any sales items at all which is unusual for Gap as they are always slashing their prices online. Should be a law against this!
