Wouldnt worry too much about the loss. I'm all for a bargain at this price but had a couple of these over the years and they dont last much more than a season. Buckles, cracks, warps, colour fades with anything other than a few metres of hose and occasional light use.
If this is all you can afford, then it'll do a job, but for long term (over a year or two), I'd avoid and go for metal hooks, carts or reels.
nice one op, just what I need...now, how long will it take for me to get around to installing this

Agreed about buying before posting, but then I often find someone else has posted the deal Hey ho, that's life!

You're probably right, however it is currently just wrapped around the tap after the reel I bought to install was left in garden & was then broken by the kids playing football!!

Doh! I know that feeling too!
If it helps any, over 20 years of trying various hoses, reels, hangers etc, I finally bit the bullet a few years back and went for the Hozelock Autoreel, 40m version. Pulls the hose back into the reel (not the wind in by hand version). Way over at the other end of the price range I know, but worth every penny. So fed up of drilling mounting holes in brickwork to try yet another cheap solution and cheap hoses that kink or leak and bits that rust, bend or snap off. Faffing about looping the hose or winding it in or having it drag through and pick up dirt or kink every season made me think twice about keep wasting money. If you look at Amazon, I bought mine on a drop around this time of year for around £65 quid, which sounds a stupidly high price for a hose and reel, I know (made me whince but better than over £100) but so, so much better and job done now once and for all and expect it to last a decade or so. Keep your eye out for deals on them if you're looking for a decent long term solution.

No worries. Good luck in the hunt.
Not sure if you know about this but if you go to uk.camelcamelcamel.com/ and sign up for free, you can search for the product you want (hose reel etc) and it searches on Amazon for you. You can then set it so when the price drops to the price you tell it you'd be prepared to pay, it alerts you via email. That's how I bagged the hose at that price.
Bit more to it than I've explained so best to read up more on their site.
It has saved me wasting time going back & forth checking on Amazon for loads of bits.

ooh, thanks for the info. I have used CCC before, but only on a specific item, I didn't know I could set it like that . You learn something new everyday
These are 99p in B&M if your local screwfix is OOS
