Thanks - gone for one!

Got these in Poundland...

Sorry, voted cold.

If you bothered to check you would see that this is £1.50 delivered!

EDIT: Post above changed - It said that this would be a good item if you wanted to use it to bump up the price for free delivery.

Lots of discount shops have been selling these for £1 to £1.50 for a while now. Poundstrecher, home and bargain etc. Good if you ONLY want online I suppose

Its 9 miles to my local pundland. So thats an 18 mile round trip.
Walking would take 6 hours!

Unless i want to take 2 tubes and a bus, and then walk at a cost of £4.

Would only be 1.5 hour trip then :-D

And no need to shout.

As if ANYONE would make a special journey out just to get cheap bit of plastic foam! It is the type of junk you see everywhere - discount "warehouses" Pound shops, whatever, and most people pass them whenever they are out and about.

What are people on, and can I have some?

If you want to wait in until the "infallible and perfect" retailer John Lewis decide to condescend and deliver it whenever they feel like, (or not!) then good luck to you, it leaves the shops emptier and easier to get round for the rest of us.

Colder than a frozen cold thing in a snow storm.

Erm... i dont do "real" shopping so this is perfect. No need to increase your font size.

I don't. I need it to SEE when typing so I use 3, I have to ENLARGE small fonts.

"Ctrl - " makes them smaller if you have a 52inch plasma for a PC Monitor

Want to kick out my crutches too?

Show me a link to it for 25p...

Mods dont edit it... i do.

PS: Ctrl +

These are widely available for £1 in many £ shops, more specifically try any 99p stores.

Still £1.50 delivered is a good deal too!

Hot hot hot! Thanks.

Why vote cold unless you can show me where I can get one delivered for less than £1.50

My nearest poundland is 8 miles away!

I got one of these instore in tesco the other day for 74p and it came with a set of gardening gloves. It was in the reduced gardening section.

Just the job for those of us who don't want to drive 20miles to the latest 'chav'land store.

or you can put the font size back down 'after' typing.
Magnifier program will be a godsend to you then!
No need to thank me for helping

And I will shout GREAT DEAL as I certainly ain't walking 9 miles to my pound shop either and run the risk of being run over on a main carriage way.

LOL. Nice point! Why magnify text that you have written? Surely the person needs to magnify the whole desktop.

My God, this is 2008; yet because some abusive person does not like what someone else writes, he has to make a big deal out of someone's physical problems, so his cronies can join in.

I am used to being harassed over my disabilities, because I can't walk very well; in fact it is a near daily occurrence for many disabled people; I am not exactly used to that either, but this one is truly amazing, and something I hadn't come across before.

It must be terrible watching TV for those affected, because of the SIZE of the logos and the information on them - at this very moment, the TV is on, and the font on the screen on my 28" screen is about 1" high, and one word takes up about 1/20th of the screen area and that sort of thing is on many programmes! Is everyone going to be in touch with the TV companies to get the text size reduced? I suspect not.

Just how big are these screens people are using on their PC? Most I see are about 17 to 19" with odd ones at 22 - rarer are 24" If font size 3 looks THAT big, then I wonder how close the screen is - when my eyesight was good, I never found any screen as ever TOO big, so I can not see the problem, with screens, bigger has ALWAYS been better.

Seeing the software to run the site goes WAY bigger, I can only assume the authors thought use of a bigger font might have been a desirable option too.

You know what the real problem is? Well, I write HUNDREDS of posts to many sites, and the ONLY objections ever to font size have been twice on here, in BOTH cases when someone gets a critical response! See the beginning of a trend there?

Give it a rest, and go an buy the stupid bit of plastic. Use it and get out in the garden - that might do some good, as might that 9 mile (or is it 20 mile?) trip in to see some chavs (also known as ordinary people) in the shops - give some grief like this in real life, not tucked up hiding behind an apparently oversized screen, and they will resolve any shortfall in your education in an instant.

No-one got anything better to do? I am bored with this: some intersting comments on interesting deals perhaps?
