Something to brighten up your garden for only 99p!
I bought some of these last year grom B&M for £2.99 and thought they were very good, but 99p, brilliant!
They have a choice of butterflies & dragonflies, in various colours, and come with a 3 section pole & ground spike.
Unlike Solar lights, these are powered directly from the solar panel which powers the small motor. Not very realistic on their own perhaps, but amongst some flowers very effective :-)

If you spend a little more time in your garden cultivating wildflowers, you can get the real thing for free.

cats love these...

Just got 6, 3 of each for £4.95 from 99p stores in Boro. Looks like one did not scan.

Have not opened these yet but do they just flutter or do they light up as well? I got both the butterfly and the dragonfly, anyone who has used these can they tell me if they light up or not?

No, these do not light up as well, as I've said the motor works directly off the solar panel, so no battery to store charge for a light, which might be asking too much for 99p lol.
I've got about 5 of them dotted around, and occasionally some visiting real ones, and they're very effective, and relaxing.

How have I lived my life without one of these in it ?

I can die a happy monkey now

Cheers OP. X)

yeah thats what happened to mine, one had only one wing for a while, then fat cat killed it totally. tbf at 99p its a cheap toy for the cat and means hes less likely to chase real butterflys... mind you hes too lazy for that.
i got some last year fom B&M so paid a bit more.. at 99p i might get a few for this year as they are cute

These can attract butterflies provided you also have a good nectar source. A bit like using duck decoys.

wont last long at all but what do you expect for the money great visual feature no sun no working

I have 6 of these in the garden .3 from last year and bought another 3 last week .they look very good among the flowers
