Sorry, but the first part of that sentence sounds like the very definition of 'going wrong'.

Are these any good or do you? I just had one of the clay ones and it have off no heat.

Would an electric one be better ? Do you need a socket near by for them or do you buy batteries or something ? Such a novice in the heater range
I had one of these it was great at first but it did not weather well at all. Became very rusty very easily. If you just expect it to last a year I suppose its not a bad price.
Would this be ok to use on wooden decking or grass? Bit worried it would scorch to death anything directly underneath
they let out loads of heat but will scorch grass underneath and would suppose it would on the decking ,ours is on a patio and no problems.

Maybe hinting at moving into hut/garage in winter?
Buy cheap, buy twice. Had something similar and looks nice for a few months then started to rust even with a cover over. Very thin poor quality metal. Ended up throwing it away about 12 months.

We have one of these, purchased two years ago from Dunelm in the sales for £10, space inside for a decent fire but it has rusted on the back (think this happened when sprinklers came on after we had been using it).

For the price I’m not worried if I have to replace it, and you can purchase high temperature spray paint for just a couple pounds too.
UKs futile attempt to join The space race.
Ours was fully rusted after a few months. I need to take it down to the skip now. Save your money.

The only reason the fools voted it hot was because they were burning their money in it

Ive got an Aldi clay one and if gives off loads of heat when properly stoked- was still warm the following morning
Main listing suggests it's steel but then further down states:
This stylish and lithely-formed cast iron chimenea....
At this price I'd be amazed it there was any cast iron to it. It's not just the problems with rust. You need cast iron if you want it to retain any heat.
