Probably saw this one which is £30 cheaper-hotukdeals.com/dea…593
though still think the Aldi one is a good comparable deal.

Don’t know why this isn’t getting any heat. Great product at a good price.

Maybe people think four hundred pounds for an Aldi own brand bbq is expensive.

Maybe people should understand what it is before freezing it and see compared to a lot of other makes it’s about £300 cheaper.

I'd be interested to hear experiences of these eggs, and how much they use …I'd be interested to hear experiences of these eggs, and how much they use them. A friend of mine has got one and took a whole day of work to slow cook some meat, which in the end was pretty dried out tbh. It looks like they need a lot of tending, but I do really like smoked stuff...!

i posted a discussion thread about bbq advice,
dont remember who but check out the youtber dedicated to the aldi kamado think its called bbq life, got loads of vids about it

looks good but some accessories can cost a bit (edited)

These sold out this time last year then they couldn't restock fast enough. Great BBQ as you can grill, roast, bake, pizzas and smoke through very low heat. Self cleaning and any ash can be scraped through the door at the bottom. Produces great tasting food and you don't have to stand at the BBQ all the time as it's more oven like in cooking.

It's not cheaper by that much though. You can pickup larger versions for slightly more or similar sizes for a similar price.

Yeah interesting swing in heat for a fifty quid price hike! Still, £400 isn't throwaway money for most. You take on risk with only 3 yr warranty etc, you're stuffed if the ceramics blow in 5 yrs, the other components aren't particularly weatherproof.

Got 2 of the mini ones after last year's delivery shambles from Aldi on this bigger one...these are superb to cook on and the smoking tastes amazing...never dried meat out so that must have been over cooked...never managed to do a good pizza though on the small one even with a pizza plate

Odd size which means no accessories. Those who don't care about accessories already have one and those who do care will spend a little more on a better kamado.
