What's the quality of this one?
Picked one up this afternoon, built it and cooked on it. Seems like a good buy to me. Lot's of putting together but overall nice and sturdy with plenty of cooking space. Feels like it should last a few years too (also comes with 3 year warranty).
There may be a number of people considering buying this given the great weather out at the moment. The putting together of the BBQ is not helped by the instructions that show the majority of the steps in just a couple of diagrams. It is not clear which way the nuts should go on so had to make a few assumptions. There is a charcoal BBQ from Argos that looks like it is made by the same manufacturer and it comes with a basic set of BBQ tools and a rain-cover - neither of which are included in this, and for the same price. That version doesn't include the two set aside areas which are useful. The biggest flaw, in my view, is that this doesn't have an adjustable height for the cooking area which means that you are a bit limited in cooking options. Also you need to be careful to get large sized pieces of charcoal as the smaller charcoal bits will otherwise fall through the charcoal grill.
Build quality seems fairly good for the general BBQ - just the design might be different. Given that there is an Argos and Tescos drum BBQ at the same price (Tescos might have been cheaper) and have potentially more to offer, I'm a little disappointed with this even if it is a good price.

Quality itself might not be too bad, but I got one, assemble half of it (as someone mentioned instructions is not very clear) and when I stand it I noticed that it's all wobbly, then after checking I found that holes are drilled in different places resulting in one leg being smaller, which is not very good for BBQ.. I return to shop and got new one, today I open it prepared to assemble, and guess what, same problem, this time 2 legs didn't even have pads on them... So probably going to return this one and not get a 3rd one..

In that case I can recommend you this one from tesco Smoker Barrel Charcoal BBQ. It's well made and solid for that price.

What about this one? tesco.com/dir…ers It looks even better, doesn't it? Do you know how different they are? And do you own the one you mentioned?
Yes it does, looks sturdy as well and even is heavier than mine. Also you can adjust charcoal height. So it can be a good choice. I do own the one I've mentioned and I am quite pleased with it only thing is that cooking height adjusting which I miss on mine.
