Is this an in Ear Earphone?

Yes. It takes video footage from your ear. Works well, but only if you have short hair.

If you buy two, do they pair...i.e. one front one back?

Remember that only 46,56,66 and Mini have AutoSync function. Previous models are not supporting this feature

Thanks. I don't have any Garmin cams at the mo
I read a review think on YouTube about this model overheating when in parking mode. Only thing putting me off had anyone got any experience of using with parking mode and how hot does the camera get?

Thanks, just what I needed. Much prefer small simple ones like this over the chunky ones with screens and endless features you don’t use.
Impressed with this little camera.
Does this require plugging into the 12v ?

DM - it does... I hate cables

Not as hot as my mobius this is replacing. Parking cable is an extra £20 unless they've reduced this now. You can open up the box to change the cutoff voltage via jumpers, although this isn't documented.

Also haven't had any WiFi issues commonly mentioned in the reviews.

Have one back and front now, but the rear one failed and needed exchanging within 3 weeks.

Only good for manic miner so far
Out of stock for delivery and in most stores it seems. Same with John Lewis
Disclaimer: upon purchasing this item you will have to forget everything you know about hazard parception, speed up towards obvious hazards and upload the footage to YouTube
Thanks OP - bought for my wife’s car. Fortunately mine has them built in and after a road rage incident - absolutely not my fault - last week we’ve decided it’s necessary for her car too. Also, I’ve had several hilarious incidents whilst parked and driving that I’ve been able to show people!

Cold water fission would be nice though
If it states Android and iOS in the description, can this be mirrored on the cars infotainment screen via Android auto/Apple CarPlay?

Yes, they do pair. I bought mine 3 months ago, front and back.
The mount is described as a "suction mount". This is wrong, it uses an "adhesive mount".
Had this for about half a year. Bear in mind it doesn't allow continuous recording, you can manually save a recording via a button and it also automatically saves videos when the built in motion sensor detects sudden movements or acceleration. (or when the subwoofers kick in haha).
It's small and can be very inconspicuous, but that's about it. Also glad that it does not have a built in GPS - those who do still capture the speed metadata even though it's not displayed on the screen.

A 3 minute video is also around 450mb - quality is decent but not stellar.
Are there any other options to mount, or is it adhesive on the screen only

Garmin offer a suction mount which I believe is compatible. You could also probably get creative and get a self adhesive neodymium magnets if you wanted to avoid having the mount stuck to your windscreen.

I have the same dilemma. Has anyone successfully mounted the mini off the suction mount? Info on the web is conflicting.
Back in stock at John Lewis at the same price.
Just ordered 2 from JL
