I understand this might get cold as some use their phone for navigation. But to others this a really good price.

There are air vent mounts available, Halfords do them half price but currently £16.99 that's the genuine ones, generic ones around £3-4 on eBay.
Outdated now but good for those who are not able to use their phones.

I think if you are sensible & place it the corner or lower down of the windscreen you should be ok.

The amount of people I see where the sat Nov is plonked in the middle of the screen somewhere is unbelievable & stupid & well worth a fine from the copshop.
Op you forgot to put has free lifetime map updates as well. Can only see free live traffic updates.

Get a dashboard mount. Do not place it on the windscreen if it is in the sweep of the windscreen wipers as it is an MOT failure and as such you could be fined if the DVSA (formally VOSA) pull you.
On a separate note it is a good sat nav. Far more reliable than mobile phones for connection purposes and the extra features on it too. I used to use my phones all the time but wouldn't go back now and find a separate system better than the built I ones most cars have these days too.
I brought one from Argos for £99.09. Great unit, incredibly detailed maps. Much preferred to a phone.
