Garmin are rubbish. Impossible to use. Completely unintuitive.

”impossible to use” - No, just because you can’t use them, many people manage just fine. They’re so simple. Enter address, press go. It’s not exactly splitting the atom is it.

My wife has this which she prefers over the in car rubbish she has, pretty simple to use, enter postcode and follow.
I have this. It's my second garmin.... Purchased because I find garmin very easy to use and have never let me down. I only replaced my nuvi 300 as I wanted a bigger screen.
It's a good price although I would pay a little more and get one with live traffic on it (LMT).
Why pay for one when you can download them free on your phone? Iv used waze for years and its never let me down
Could anyone recommend a good dash mount for this one? (not the suction pad or air vent style)

Thanks
Great find
or just install sat nav on your mobile phone

I've never understood it either, just buy a decent mount preferably with charger in built.

Personal choice, much larger screen, improved interface, allegedly superior GPS?

They seem to be cheaper and cheaper as time goes on, which is good for anyone who wants to buy them.

I personally use my phone when needed for navigation but each to their own..

Happened to me three years ago when I was travelling through Europe that my phone's charging port broke in Germany. When I realised, it was too late, I had no phone and no GPS . When I stopped at the first petrol station to see if I could buy a GPS or another phone, I realised that my car's water pump is about to go, coolant was leaking. We were lucky with my wife's phone and the offline iGo installed on it. I wish I had a proper GPS device.
