I have had an Edge 520 for a few years & love it. This is the newest model & the first "reduction" since it was launched recently. The 520 was the go to device used by the majority of the pro peloton. This brings a raft of improvements from mapping to performance metrics. If you want to learn more about the improvements then the below review should help:

The £50 card offer is also available against the Edge 830 & a number of bundles:

With GroupTrack enabled you will always be able to stay in touch with your fellow riders should you become separated out on the road.

The innovative ClimbPro feature lets you really dial in your focus on long climbs with live updates of the remaining gradient, distance and total ascent to perfectly gauge effort. You will be scoring new personal bests and perhaps the odd KOM crown in no time. Garmin's proven navigation and mapping ensure you are always on track and with turn-by-turn navigation you can easily find your way back home quickly if required.

Good deal. Unusual to see an offer on the latest device
If you don't need the case, you can get it for £209.99 at Wiggle using the same idea. And £199.99 if you're a new customer.

The £50 voucher seems to be a wider promotion here: garminrewards.co.uk

It refers to "qualifying retailers" but doesn't specify who they are, it may be worth holding off as Wiggle, Evans, CRC have the Garmin £10 cheaper without the case and you may be able to get the British Cycling discount on Evans or CRC.

Damn it! Because I couldn’t see it on the page of the device itself I didn’t want to risk it, didn’t see their other page you just linked to!

I just spotted that also. Weirdly I went to cancel my order & re-order from Wiggle but the price also dropped for my order. Strange.

As for BC discount, I think it excludes Garmin in the T&Cs.

Actually, anyone confirm BC discount at Evans now only seems to apply to full priced products?

That seems to be the case, it's strange though because the T&Cs don't state it. Not that I could see anyway.
I checked the BC discount page for both Evans & CRC & Evans mentions GPS devices are excluded. Couldn’t spot it for CRC though so potentially another tenner off.
Long list of qualifying retailers.
Lots of Local bike shops also included.

Wahoo Elemnt Bolt - much better, get one instead

Wahoo Elemnt Bolt - much better, get one instead

The reviews (eg. DC Rainmaker) say that the new Garmin range is way better than even the latest Wahoo Roam, let alone the older Bolt. The Wahoo computers win on build quality though.
There is also another contender on the scene. Stages have launched three new GPS devices and look very nice, they are new though and there has not been that much information as of yet but they are available to buy and range between about £130 & £280 and the higher price models appear to offer full mapping.

Not getting hot - wonder why? Maybe because a Bolt is so much better in functionality and value?

Or maybe it’s because the mods wouldn’t let me post £209.99. And for those less knowledgable about Garmin hierarchy will have seen the recently reduced 520 Plus/820 on prime day & not think this is as much of a deal.

I’m a Garmin fan, I have a 935 (previously had a 230) & have had a 80, 520 & now 530. However competition is great for everyone as it lowers prices & increases features. Personally I love the metrics on my 935 & therefore upgrading at this price to a 530 for those & mapping was a no brainier.

Chain reaction cycles is not a qualifying retailer.
Just back from using my new 530 in Spain on unfamiliar roads and the mapping was great, also the warnings about sharp bends are very useful on fast descents! The new MTB features are fun too. Some occasional Bluetooth connection issues with iPhone (that everything seems to have!). Very happy with it so far though.
Did the price drop at sigma also then, I see they do a £10 off voucher also for new customers for over £100 spend.

Previously it was £269.99 but they matched £259.99 elsewhere. Annoyingly I didn’t spot that when I first posted the deal so it went cold initially.
It's a good price though at £200, yes it seems harsh your deal went cold initially. As with all the mobile phone deals that used to be around. People were put off by redemption cashback but its usually straight forward through a big manufacturer like this. I assume in theory you can pay any price for this be it 239,259,269 and pay via card or PayPal. Key things is it needs to be from a retailer supporting the £50 pre paid mastercard as original receipt needs to be uploaded from Aug 9th it says
