Wow that's Cheap....but with all the advanced on Forerunner's + New 645 Forerunner coming soon...+ The New Vivo smart that came in November how good is the Fenix 3...it was always good don't get me wrong but this low price and other additions...and higher specs...hmm...
Love my Fenix 3 but Garmin haven't fixed and aren't interested in fixing the Altitude issue with these watches. Google it before you think of purchasing
waiting for a 935 deal 🤞

Plus , for a (once) top of the range watch the GPS isn't exactly pinpoint. Good enough most of the time mind.

Oh, and Huawei need to release a patch to their OS wrapper as it currently won't pair with a number of their phones (watch also has wifi for uploads though).

Don't get me wrong, I wear it nearly every day and use it for running, swimming, etc. Just for the cash it has a few flaws.
This is a good price so worth some heat. My vivoactive 3 I purchased on Friday froze on me yesterday and wouldn’t come back to life. Got a refund and am now back looking for a new watch.

Starting to come to the conclusion none of these watches are particularly great at the moment. Don’t get me wrong a lot of them have great features, but they all seem to have various flaws (particularly in the medium price range). Nobody seems to have nailed it yet and new models are being released and ditched on a regular basis. Starting to think I am best sticking to my old forerunner 305 for now, which doesn’t do much else, but is perfectly fine for basic running tracking.

Is there one coming and if there is how will it stack up against the new to be 645....

Mind you if IF the 935 is Updated...that would be interesting...

Agreed. And two things they all need is at least a 48 hour (IMO) battery life and a colour display that is easy to read in moderate daylight. It would be too much to ask for it to be visible in sunlight, maybe in a few years time

I have no idea, but I hope so. I don't think the 645 is the same kind of product, I'd be wanting it for open water swimming too.

To be fair to the vivoactive 3 I had briefly, the more light it was exposed to the better the display could be read. Battery was still 50% 3 days in and i’d been out running and generally playing with the settings quite a bit. However, it froze and other people seem to have had similar experiences, so its one to avoid at the moment.

Fenix 5 is the only one in the range i’d want right now, but £450 is too rich for me.
