Check out DC rainmaker website. He has thoroughly in depth reviews, but also had a tool to compare different watches

DC rainmaker as has been said is your best bet. A lot of women find this model a little chunky and masculine looking. The 5S is often the preferred choice

Mostly running. I'm thinking the vivoactive 3 after looking at the DC rainmaker site.
Does this model store music offline?

No. You would need the 5 Plus for that
yep, makes sense... fenix are great, but not worth the extra £ if she's mainly a runner....
or how about the 235, as opposed to the vivo 3

Vivoactive 3 suits pretty much everyone as long as you're ok with the design, don't mind a touchscreen and not using it for triathlon. Vivoactive 3 Music if you want to carry tunes on the watch. It'll cover 90% of users and do it really well.
I would like a good golf/running watch so maybe I'll have to go with this one
this is overkill for golfing/ occ running. Personally I wouldn't want it because of slender wrists too. Ok price but JL had misprice at £210 (and yes I don't have a time machine) which always makes me think any other deal isn't quite as good (as daft as that sounds admittedly)

I run a reasonable amount (usually 15-25miles) and have the music VA3 from the Argos deal for £150. More than happy with it. All you really need for running is the most basic running watch. I personally think HR should be a minimum too. The extras only pay for if you need it. VA3 is HR, waterproof, has lots of fitbit esque things and the music version stores music offline. It also has a barometer which is nice for more accurate hills. Go for something she likes the look of (she has to wear it after all), with the basic functions she needs and when they're on sale (search historical hukd deals to see if the price really is that special)

Do you have a good golf/running watch you'd recommend? I have an S4 but it's playing up so I am looking for a watch that does running

Vivoactive 3 does golf and running

235 is quite old tech now. Also a bit bigger and chunkier. Personally I think the vivoactive 3 is a seriously good all round watch as long as you are okay with a touch screen which works fine but can be frustrating when wet.
Also 5% TcB I believe

I couldn't agree more. It took me so long to choose on prime day the one I chose in the end sold out. I'm going for
Garmin vivoactive 3 Music. £150 on prime day, so stuck waiting price to drop. Anyone got a time machine I could borrow?!?
Cex do a grade B for 140 with two year warranty if you can not wait. uk.webuy.com/pro…k-b
