It’s raining Garmin vivos.
Bought this a year ago from John Lewis for around this price (return) and it's an absolutely brilliant sports watch. I thought I'd miss the bright oled screens of my galaxy watch but the ridiculous battery length and far superior activity make it well worth it. Also the screen looks great in sunlight anyway. Had a nosey at the fenix 6 but it definitely didn't seem worth the upgrade.
I’d love a 6x pro and the new look has me won over, this is a good price though.
5S same price, same retailer went to -77 on here two days ago. peculiar.

This is better than the 5s and usually 200£ more than the 5s

sorry, I mistyped... 5S Plus, I meant to say. Flagged it in case anyone is small-wristed like me. Both good deals imo, just mentioning the arbitrariness of the heat oftentimes
Does anyone know how does the battery life compare to suunto in real world conditions?

I have the smaller 5s plus, and its getting about 5 days in smartwatch mode (its supposed to get 7) A 30min run with GPS drops the battery by about 5-8% (so in line with the estimated 8hrs with GPS on)

The lower than expected smartwatch mode battery might be because I've put a very busy watchface on it with lots of data fields. Also set the backlight to light up on tilt (but only after sunset). I should probably try it with a simpler stock watchface, but TBH I'd rather have the watchface of my choice and live with having to reach for the charger slightly more often (as 5 days is still decent)

The larger 5 plus is supposed to get 12 days in smartwatch mode i think.

Most reviews say the estimated battery life is about right
Damn.. expired.. or would have gone for it. Any other similar recommendations guys? (should include maps as the aim is to keep trying new routes)
