The screen is so disappointing in 2022. Dull and unusable for maps. Good for battery life, nothing else. If you want this with an ok screen, get an epix
I bought this model after owning several Samsung watches with AMOLED screens and I don't know what you're on about. The screen is perfectly usable in all conditions. I'm in marathon training and using it outdoors a lot with the maps. I couldnt recommend this device enough. Sure Epix 2 screen is great but it also comes at a premium price tag that personally I decided I'm not willing to pay. A Sapphire version of Epix 2 with the same functionality is around £250-300 more than this Fenix. I would rather buy some other running gear for that money which I will enjoy much more than that fancy screen.

Is this a better watch than the Fenex 6?
It is better but is it worth it (I've had both), I would say no. I got the Epix now, the OLED display is a huge leap.

Thought it was a tape measure.
Probably an app for that! 🤦‍♂️

After reading comments in previous deals, I don't think, I will bother. Don't want to freeze cash on the card and wait for it to drop when the order is cancelled on item not brand new.
Not sure what you are referring to Zosia? This is brand new from Beaverbrooks not some of the dodgy websites previously posted?

Only saw this price at gooutdoor before, the 3 items for 15% off.
Using a 7x now, definitely worth the update from the 5 series. For the 6 series this might be depending on the budget...
I’ve just ordered a replacement battery (£20) for my fenix 5, to try and eek out another 12-18months out of it. What in particular is better/an upgrade on your old 5? If my battery lasted longer I’m not sure I could justify the upgrade
