Excellent device at a v.good price.
If you cycle as well as run then I'd recommend getting one of these:
It's an alternative watch strap that allows you to easily detach the watch and fit it onto a (supplied) cradle on your bike. Due to foot problems I'm doing mostly cycling at the moment and this has given my Garmin a new lease of life.

i've already got a device that trains my wrist, thanks.

Great watch! been a massive help whils training for the London Marathon! bargin at under £100

If you follow a regular route (or routes) you can use walkjogrun.com for free (it uses Google map data) to get the same kind of information. You'll initially get a map of the US, but just type in your postcode and away you go.

These bits of kit are absolutely invaluable to a runner. I've had mine 2 years now, and it's just brilliant

If you have an android phone in your pocket instead, download a free copy of 'Endomondo', which uses your phone as a GPS tracking device and gives you feedback along the route and a website where you can track your progress. Superb programme for analysing performance and checking the distance of running or cycling routes.

The great phone vs watch debate yet again.

Fantastic price. A newer model is available but much more expensive and some say it is not as good. I have this watch and although the beep has stopped working, I don't go for a run without out. Great training aid.

Needs expiring, no longer available at this price

Christ that would break your wrist !!

Got one for my wife she loves it. Now wher near as big as it looks brilliant bit of kit. I paid £90 from Amazon for it a few weeks ago.

Are there any aps for my blackberry that i see half of facebook using on there Iphones like black mac just mentioned!

Got one 3 weeks ago and it's excellent. Used it for a few training runs and a half marathon last weekend. Also used it for a couple of bike rides too.

Only problem now is that the misses wants one too.
