Anybody got any experience of using one of these? Seems good for the price especially with GPS.

Yes, had one for over a year. Battery lasts me at least 2 weeks between charges. Replaced my heart chest strap when Cycling. Easily connects to my Garmin Edge 1000. Useful for phone notifications too (using with an iPhone). Never used it for running. Records walking steps okay.

Great price.
Great price. The FR30 is currently 454° so this should get really hot!
I use this 3x a week for running and it's a superb wee watch! I paid 139.99 for it 6 months ago so this is a good price . Heat
Same price as the 30 but this is a higher spec watch

How well does the sleep tracking work? And does it have good app integration (does it link to fitbit, myfitnesspal, strava etc)
Had mine 6 months ( paid £139 ) excellent when running links easily to both iPhone or samsung watches as well as strava. Get about a week from the battery running 3 times a week up to 20 miles a week. Looks ok for every day use as well.
After 14 months the time on mine just started losing half an hour at random times. Until that point I was enjoying using it with (and without) my android phone for cycling and jogging. Didn't use the heart rate monitor. GPS was accurate.

Had to get hold of a second hand Sony smartwatch for now which is also fun but I am disappointed that the Garmin couldn't do the most basic thing. Who can trust a watch that can't tell the time??

Having said that - if my problem was a one off then this is a good price.
Good watch, paired up with my old iPhone was good, connects with my Huawei p10 lite as well now (apparently there were some Bluetooth connection issues). Paid £119 at Black's at Xmas with £6 cashback
Ordered the TomTom Runner 2 posted up here for £44. Is this worth £56 more?

It tracks sleep levels and movement. No idea how accurate it is (as I’m asleep, lol). It integrates wit Garmin Connect which in turn can integrate with other applications, such as Strava and Myfitnesspal. It’s not a function of the watch itself, but Garmin Connect. I don’t think it can integrate with Fitbit.
How accurate is the heart rate monitor?

I’ve now got a garmin vivoactive HR from an amazon warehouse deal, happy with the watch.
i also had a amazfit bip for a short while, which for the price it was brilliant, however it did not work with runkeeper which all my runs for the last few years were recorded.
if you just want a cheaper gps/fitness watch then check out the amazfit bip, it imports into strava and has brilliant battery life, it does however take a few weeks to get delivery from China
