About this product

Tiny camera, huge protection. The car key-sized Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 with voice control offers discreet eyewitness incident detection in 1080p HD video for vehicles on the road or parked. Once plugged into your vehicle's power source, the camera continually records, capturing crisp details with its 140-degree wide angle lens. Saved incident footage is automatically uploaded to the secure Garmin cloud Video Vault for future use. Easily access the camera remotely for live-view monitoring on your phone.

Model number: 010-02504-10.

For added security, the Parking Guard function will record and send a video clip to your phone if your parked vehicle is hit or broken into.

Voice control lets you use spoken commands to save video, start/stop audio recording, take still pictures and more. Access a live view from your dash cam, so you're always in touch with your vehicle.

Dual USB ports mean you won't have to choose between powering the dash cam and keeping your phone charged. Durable construction withstands punishing vehicle environments, including direct sunlight and hot interior temperatures.

For anyone else wondering how it uploads clips if your parked vehicle is hit/broken into, and how you could monitor via Live View when away from the car, it doesn’t have it’s own cellular connectivity or anything.
The Garmin website says “… requires an active Wi-Fi connection and constant power; some vehicles will require use of the Constant Power Cable (sold separately)” so you’d need to have something else in the car to provide such a connection for the camera to use.

No, you can connect it to your phone via WiFi to view footage. Instead of removing SD card or cable to pc.

Pointing out the fact it's discrete, small, won't impede your vision or make it an attractive reason to steal.

Is there any way to have a dashcam without a working charging port?

I have the older version of this. Decent little camera, hides nicely behind the rear view mirror. Garmin drive app works well and is easy to set up between the two (via WiFi). Decent, stable picture.
Only downside for me is it's lack of GPS.
