Lowest price I've seen the Gun Metal version of this new watch from Garmin. Use the code BIGTHANKS to get an additonal £10 off the price making it £239.99

Might not be for everyone buy a good price for the functionality and battery life.

So it's not £239.99.
voted.
£20 cheaper for the black or white options.
I had this watch for a few days and then it froze on me and I couldn’t bring it back to life. Returned it to currys and they couldn’t replace so got a refund.

Its a nice watch with loads of features for people who want multisport. Not the best display though as its very dim unless in bright light where it works better. Put off now though due to my recent experience and others reporting freezing.

The gun metal version is more expensive as the coating used for the bezel is more expensive to manufacture apparently.

I’m going to pay extra and get the Fenix 5, which incidentally is now down to £449 on Amazon (£439 with today’s code)

Well it was £239.99 for me and that's the color I wanted, @andrewp thanks for the advice, I guess I'll give it a try and make sure I keep an eye on the Garmin updates, I see they have been pushing out multiple updates over the last few months. I would love to get the Fenix 5 but it's out of budget

Sorry wasn’t doubting the price you got, just explaining why it is generally more expensive in this colour.

Its a nice watch and I would have been very happy with it had it not broken. Looks great as a watch to wear all day. Some look too much like sport watches for my liking. Hopefully your experience will be different.

No worries, I was referring to a previous post. Guess I'll see how it behaves. Enjoy the Fenix 5!
Had this watch now since it came out a few months ago. Initially suffered from the inevitable wrist rash as with a lot of these watches but that has gone now however, I have wore the watch in the shower a lot and swimming so I don't know if this has washed off or diluted the coating on the strap that causes these rashes.

The watch itself is brilliant for the price and has a lot more functions than most anywhere near this price range. The App is also very user friendly and collects all kinds of useful data.

The best thing about the watch though is it's looks (I have the black metal one) and the fact it is very accurate with the built in GPS connecting in seconds.

I did a lot of research before buying and didn't come across any reports of this watch freezing up?
Great dunno why the cold votes I've not seen it cheaper

Theres quite a few in the amazon reviews and elsewhere that reporting freezing and boot loops. If you aren’t experiencing that then that’s great, because it is a decent multiactivity watch
