I had this for a few days, really disappointed with it and had to return it. Wouldn't sync with phone & basically didn't work properly. Did tell the time though....
Returned mine after 3 days. Froze on garmin logo and would not come back on. Currys had none in stock to replace so got a refund. Some have had issues and others have not.

Was a nice watch while it worked though!
Replaced my wife’s Vivoactive HR with one of these when the screen seal on her HR failed and died during a pool swim. She didn’t like it (too bulky) and we ended up returning and buying a new HR instead.
Tempting but looking for a good deal on Fenix 5 - if anyone sees one, that'd be great!
Bought one yesterday, although the grey/slate model, for £259 so this is an excellent price.

Had the Vivoactive 2 for a couple of years before sweat eventually destroyed the glue holding the face in place. It wasn't my primary fitness tracker, that'd be the Garmin Edge when cycling, but for daily recording of rest/activity with the occassional fitness tracking it fitted in well.

Having only had the Vivoactive 3 for one day I can't give a thorough review but my initial response would be it continues and improves upon where the Vivoactive 2 left off. I haven't seen any of the problems some early adopters have experienced such as battery life or connectivity. Although big it has a plastic body and only time will tell how resilient it will be.

I understand Garmin Pay hasn't been sorted for Europe yet but then I have Google Pay on my phone anyway.

Make sure you eject it properly from your computer after charging. I just unplugged it and that’s when it froze and died on me. Despite my noob error that still should not have happened, but best to be on the safe side!

Its a great watch so hope you enjoy it.

I've had one a couple of months now. Other than random finding myself in menus because something has touched the screen (it works through clothes, gloves etc) its worked flawlessly. Syncs every time, its never crossed my mind to eject it properly from the pc, and I get 4+ days from a charge.
Cold. Had for 1 month then returned. Cheap quality, bad battery life. Not to mention the list of bugs.
Its price should be around £100, still I would not buy it.
