Been looking at this since new year day (new year new you blah blah blah) and best price I could find now. This is the music version so you can take your spotify offline without your phone. Something I’ve ignored the Apple Watch for cos it can’t do that!

Blurb from Argos:

Put your songs on your wrist with Garmin vivoactive 3 Music. This GPS smartwatch with music storage is built for the active lifestyle. It lets you rock your workout and listen to tunes (up to 500 songs) phone-free through Bluetooth headphones (sold separately). Connected features include smart notifications, text replies (Android only) and automatic uploads to Garmin Connect. Find more ways to beat yesterday with more than 15 preloaded sports apps, wrist-based heart rate, VO2 max, fitness age estimate and all-day stress tracking.

Sports apps include yoga, cardio, strength training, running and more. Download pre-set workouts or create custom ones. It has a high-res touchscreen Garmin chroma display, with Side Swipe interface to scroll through song lists and more.

You can sync your carefully crafted playlists from select music streaming services, like Deezer, Spotify and more, to your watch for more ad-free listening. So leave your phone behind when you head out for a run or ride, because the music that keeps you moving is right there on your wrist.

Vivoactive 3 Music includes the Garmin Pay Ready contactless payment method, so you can leave your cash and cards at home. (Available for supported cards from participating banks; contact your bank for more information).

My advice is unless you are super into music without the phone, get the non music version and save yourself some money. Plus it looks more premium

What’s the ‘it’s already posted’ brigade going to do now? You’ve spoilt their fun(fierce)
I'm waiting for the 4s to be less than 200, got 5 months to wait until my birthday! These watches all look way too big on my piddly wrist, so a smaller one is preferable. I have a tomtom with music built in, wouldn't settle for less now, especially with phones being more cumbersome to carry round, people look like bouncers these days 😁
If the cashback is paid out in a sense the 4s was less than 200 pre Christmas. However it might be 5 months by the time they sort the firmware out.

Got one of these a few months ago and really like it, not stupidly big on your arm which is good. The Garmin pay and offline Spotify are both handy.
How longs the battery last though? With a 10k hour run using GPS and music is it gonna be dead after? My TomTom used to drain the battery Loads when I had music and tracking on

It has Garmin Pay, you can use this like any of the other contactless payments. Not that many banks are signed up to it yet though, but Revolut, Starling & Santander are.
Curve card works with this!
