for accuracy, you need GPS, which is is based on actual location, rather than 'movement'. Too many variables to be accurate

And another £200
This does not work with endomondo. In fact, does not link with most fitness apps.

Also does not have a heart monitor / EKG. Nor does it have GPS..

Cold, as it's quite expensive for what it is.

Kindest regards

Amazfit Bip. Superb smartwatch with GPS, and although I haven't tested it I believe it syncs with Strava using the 'Notify and Fitness' paid app.

yes

+£5 and with GPS and Heart RateHuawei Band 2 Pro

I was about to mention that the Huawei Band 2 Pro aswell. Its actually £46 on amazon currently. the Huawei is better in almost every way. THe only negative point Ive heard so far is about the app to link with your sport band isnt super awesome at the moment but its still workable.

Sounds good thanks
I bought the Huawei Band 2 Pro Fitness off Amazon today for the same price. From the reviews I've read I think it's better than this one but I don't know much about fitness trackers.

That seems a good bit of kit - thanks

Yes I believe so. I don't actually own one, just came across it on hukd a while back. From reviews I read the app isnt as polished as Fitbit etc, and the heart rate monitor isn't as good as one you strap to your chest but overall it's excellent value at <£50.

Personally I have a polar m400. When it packs up I'll probably go for something like Huawei or a Xiaomi equivalent, as I trust both brands.

Huawei looks much better. Seems to have more features.
I had this tracker before upgrading to a Vivoactive HR and found it great (had the vivofit 1 first). I think there are 2 main advantages of this over the Huawei:
1: Battery life - the vivofit will last around a year on a single battery (actually two cell batteries that you can change yourself).

2. App support - the Garmin connect app is really well supported as it covers all of the Garmin range and is regularly updated.

Generally speaking, wrist-based HR monitors aren't as accurate as the chest-straps, though you do have the extra cost and inconvenience of putting it on first. Depends how accurate you want your measurements. The GPS and smart notifications are significant advantages for the Huawei and it's interesting that it's also waterproof - that used to be a USP of the Garmin range, which is why I preferred it.

Get the Fitbit surge (plenty on eBay). I've got one and it automatically syncs to Strava. It's great!

Forerunner 30. £99 at Argos and Amazon.

Brilliant running watch. Standalone GPS and the same HR sensor as the more expensive Garmins.

You don't need gps to work on Strava, my fitbit hr works with it fine
I had 3 of the original version and all broke. I'm now using the MI Band 2 instead. Much more durable and a lot cheaper.
Be warned their customer service is awful if you ever have a problem, and they are having major problems with their devices connecting to bluetooth

Yeah prob is but Fitbit replace straps very quickly.

However, not suitable for swimming!

show me a fitness tracker with 1 year battery which you can just wear and forget with better value
Band 2 Pro is brilliant value! Have been using one since since Christmas and I cannot find fault for the money. If I were to nitpick then the strap isnt great and when the GPS is on gets throug battery quicker. It doesn't have loads of features but what it does do it does incredibly well. Waterproof, GPS, advanced sleep tracking and also calculates VO2 max. The app is really good although not as slick as Fitbit but thats what you pay more money for. Band 2 Pro is probably unrivalled for the money at the moment.
