Managed to find this on Decathlon, might actually be an error in price as this is the same price as HR. The cheapest yet no vouchers needed and free delivery, mine just arrived.

Good price for the plus model

I have one of this and it's brilliant!!!

The only "issue" is the strap, it is a bit broken after less than a year and I'm not sure where to buy it.

I have heard issues, some forums say you can contact Garmin directly and send your device to them to replace the straps? I wish I could have kept my Fitbit charge 2 but I was getting a rash from the straps, so hopefully the Vivosmart will work better for me!

Or you could get go outdoors to price match the vivoactive hr at decathlon with 10% extra off so it becomes £143.

Great idea however last I checked GoOutdoors didn't have the HR+

The vivoactive hr is the next level up from the vivosmart hr+. Bigger screen, notifications etc. Pretty certain go outdoors don't stock anything but the vivoactive hr fwiw

Just what I was looking for and at a great price.
365 day returns policy if you're not satisfied too!
I have an viviactive HR and want something neater and smarter for my wife that'll still record bike rides and 24x7 heart rate.
At this price, I can give it a go and see how it performs - and return to store if its not as good as I hope...

Does it record 24/7 heart rate tho? I have a Vivosmart HR and that only tells you current heart rate and a graph on the watch of the last 4hrs? The only time you can get a constant reading graph on the app is when your in a training mode? If I'm wrong please tell me as I've just purschased a Fitbit Surge as a replacement, that does record 24/7 however I did prefer the garmin and would love it if I'm wrong and it does actually do it?

I am very sure that the Vivosmart HR records heart rate 24/7 as well. Although I don't own it I did do prior research. Have a look at this site,

I can see that it says it does and I can also see the garmin heart rate graph in the app. I have no idea how the vivosmart hr does it tho? I even posted on the garmin forum asking for advice and they told me to activate 'heart rate tracking' but that didnt work either. I wore mine for 4 days solid and there was nowhere on the app that showed a 24hr graph the only way it shows a heart rate graph is if you manually start a workout mode (running mode) then stop it when you finish. Doing this would only give you 24hr use between charges tho.
If anyone does know how to do it I'd be very greatful as my Fitbit isn't as accurate as the garmin and I'd love to swap back again.

The surge is fine till the strap breaks. Straps are not replaceable as they have some of the electronics built in. Fitbit wouldn't replace mine as it was out of warranty so I went for the vivoactive hr. The garmin has it's quirks such as it struggles to record sleep properly and I'm seriously unsure about the calorie counting but overall it's far more polished than the surge and I wouldn't go back.

Do you know how I get my garmin to display the 24hr heart rate on the app please? As I said I do prefer it to the Fitbit. I'm using mine a bit different to you guys, I've got a medical condition and need to monitor my heart rate 24/7. If I knew how to do it I'd go back to using it in a heartbeat... see what I did there

No idea how you can get 24h hr on the watch. In the connect app in the my day screen if you click on timeline on the opening page (below the sleep 'circle') that shows your hr during the day. Is that what you're looking for?

It's the graph on the app that I'm after. So if I go on the 'snapshots' on the bottom left then 'my day' then press 'timeline' under the sleep circle that will give me my 24/7 heart rate?

If this works you will have made me super happy

Yep. It does with my vivoactive hr anyway. You can also just swipe left in my day and it comes up too. I'm using the android version. Plus if you touch the graph you can view previous days too.

Thank you! I'm using the IOS version but hopefully should be the same. I'll charge it up and test it out in a bit.

Argh! That first timeline graph doesn't show the whole day for some reason! But if you click on it then scroll down from the graph and click on the heart rate button it does. Bizarre design!

Just looked on my iOS app, if you go to "More" in the bottom right and then "Health Stats" you'll see a section at the bottom "All Day Heart Rate" which shows your heart rate over the past 7d/4w/12m but then shows the individual days underneath which you can click on to see a graph for that day.

Alternatively you can go to "Calendar" and click on a particular date you want to check and there will be a sub section of "Heart Rate" which you can click to see the same graph.

I have a vivoactive hr (recently from decathlon) and when using the garmin app on my android device, you can view heart rate when you select the three horizontal bars menu (top left) then... -> health stats -> all day heart rate.

The screen that appears will show weekly, monthly, and yearly graph. with a list of days below, you can see hr for any 24hr period in more detail.

hope that helped! :-)
