It shows £3 per month on website but I just took the policy out over the phone for £2 per month they have an offer.

Its include free annual boiler service so worth the boiler service only for £24 total you pay for the year.

I know not many of us like this company but I took this policy just for the sake of free boiler service which will be done any time after April this year.

You can cancel this after 12 months as if renewal is going to be expensive.

Think it's because the company are awful and apparently you struggle to even get your free service.Just what I've read.

correct! I booked my service and they didn't turn up. Rang them and they said it wasn't booked in so had to book another one.

Finally got the engineer out to service it and he inly stayed 5 mins.
British Gas offer good service but you pay a premium, think I will stay with BG or self fund with an annual gas check up paid out of those funds.
I was in the last month of my first year & needed them to come out for my broken boiler. I was told over the phone that I needed to pay for the 2nd year for them to come out & fix it £299!! I had no heating for two days!! Called someone local to come out. The only good thing from it they admitted the mistake & refunded me the cost. Customer service shocking.

£95 excess!!!!!
My advice would be thay if you want this product it would work out better at between 20 -50 pound through your home Insurance but with no excess. I work for a big insurance company who recently ended their contract with Home serve because their customer service is terrible. sorry has to be cold

There shocking & that's been nice!!
Cake would be nice! But they'd f***** that up to!
Like many of these breakdown covers,,, it does not include any parts and always has a massive excess , so its win win for them because they will always find something wrong,,,, money , money , money
the engineer didnt came..but they claimed he did...may be when i was sleeping...as told by other finally i after lot of pursuit and perseverance i manged them to send engineer ; who stayed just for 5 mins (magic).
they forged and provided false servicing documents. probably they can be charged for criminal offense as we are dealing with gas etc...where they can put a family at risk if they miss some critical fault. AVOID THEM;

had a homeserve heating and plumbing cover once, had a leak so called them late morning they advertise a 2 hour response time... they came past 9pm following me calling them all day?. They came past 9pm that night I had a toddler in bed!. Claimed it was a leak under the bath which he 'fixed', the leak continued. Turns out it was a leak from the boiler had to get a plumber out days after. Hardly good.... cold from me
this company are beyond a joke. I took out landlord insurance, and I wasn't sent the cp12, policy documents are only available in hard copy and despite requesting it multiple times via email - still haven't received this, also they sent the gas engineer to my home, not the tenants. Awful - if they can mess something up.. they will. Pretty impressive really.
