I see the numpties have already started voting this cold without giving any reason.

I think there are gazebos out there for a similar price mate. £15 for argos value range.

That's 7% more expensive, why would that be a contender on this thread ?

lol because the question posed was not about contenders but why it was possibly being voted cold.

So why would anyone vote cold if this is the best price - doesn't make a whole lot of sense?

Its actually £17.99 on Argos which makes it 28.5% more expensive - bargain (_;)

£10 here, no idea what the-product.co.uk are like. I will admit to being surprised that Tesco was as expensive as £14. They have definitely been cheaper in previous years #festivalgoer

I dont know where you get £10 from its £19.98 delivered!

And by my calculations that works out at approx 43% more expensive - next?

I'm still waiting for someone to show me a cheaper deal than this.

Bring on the clowns!

So just to reiterate if anyone can find a deal which is better..

i.e.

Not one which was posted in November 2 years ago and isnt currently available.

Not one which doubles in price when carriage is added

Not one which involves taking your life into your hands visiting a West Mids slum

Not one which only exists in your mind

...then by all means please vote this cold.

I voted cold for your attitude here (which stinks, btw).

I've seen this in action. One stiff breeze and the poles are knackered.

Even if £14 is the absolute cheapest you can get this for, it's still too much to pay for this flimsy piece of tat.

Cold from me.

Some people do get way too emotionally involved in their so-called "deals".

Actually we always had the expensive spider like ones that pushed up from the middle. Give them there due they lasted a while but each time the weatherman got it really wrong and we had a gale the mechanism broke so we replaced them at quite a cost.

Last time we bought a cheapy just as a doofer. We still have that cheapy. Much easier, we just remove the cover at night and the structure stays up whatever the weather, so this a brilliant buy and a jolly good price too.

If you have the presence of mind to remove the covers from a cheap piece of tat, you surely have the same presence of mind to remove the covers from a half decent gazebo too?

Nice one. Bought it there. Don't care if it isn't great on a windy day, it can double up as a kite, which makes it even better value for money.

As these Tesco links never work for me here it is again

I get the same problem but if I right click on the link then select "open in new tab" it works fine

Actually an expensive one is a lot higher and a lot harder to remove and being rather height challenged lol I can remove this one myself even if I am home alone without resort to clambering on tables or using a step ladder. Thinking about it. the covers didn't totally come off the expensive ones we had either.

In reply..

Its rare that I bother to post a deal which is a loss to HUKD. It does annoy me when I have taken the time to post something that hoards of trolls and idiots then vote cold usually claiming they can buy it cheaper yet can't come up with the goods when challenged.

I have to confess I do enjoy the bites though

I'm not sure if thats getting too emotional or just exposing the failures of a site which has simply lost its way and community over the years?

Without appearing rude, can you point me to the deal because I've looked through HUKD and could only find one at Sainsburys which was that price but nearly two years ago?

I agree mate. My history of posted deals really p1sses me off - some good, some shocking. The "I can get it cheaper elsewhere" t0ssers are ruining a very useful site by voting cold and not saying why, or, when they do say why they voted cold it is simply because they can "get it cheaper somewhere else". It does make you wonder why you bother trying to help anyone out by posting a deal. Keep your pecker up mate!

Read carefully - "a while ago" - it was indeed some time back

No worries - it was quite some time ago - so no longer available at that price I'm afraid. - Will have a hunt about for the thread, but from memory may have been into 2012 time

Mate, I totally agree with what you say. Drives me nuts when people vote something cold simply 'cos they don't want/need/like the item in question. I had one idiot vote one of my deals cold saying he could get it cheaper, when the link he gave was for a completely different item! When challenged to show me where he could get the SAME product cheaper, he conveniently didn't reply.

That's a different item and is still £14, this one is the pop up version we saw the pop up version in store on sunday and nearly went for it but didn't have clubcard vouchers with us.
