Thanks, I'd forgotten about this :)

If you have Amazon Prime, you can "borrow" magazines for free - think it is called Prime Reading. https://www.amazon.co.uk/kindle-dbs/fd/prime-pr-magazines?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&storeType=periodicals&pageType=FEATUREDOC&pf_rd_p=8414e360-7d0c-4a05-9481-9d9431a17424&pf_rd_r=1JAVE4T19B7AG1TVWE32&pf_rd_s=center-5&pf_rd_t=47101&ref_=dbs_o_w_shv_s5_8414e360-7d0c-4a05-9481-9d9431a17424&pf_rd_i=dbs-desktop-prime-pr

Gozer

Heated for the better link provided by scottishpunter. I got offered this back in December after I cancelled normal £7.99 a month subscription. Even at the normal price this is terrific value as it's only the cost of about 2 physical paper magazines a month.

Spiritjambo

Ah well, not to worry. I have my other backup source for images of women in lingerie. HUKDeals! (lol)

I love this app! Great value as you can use on 5 devices so the whole family can use.

Is there a code to use for the 2 month free trial as it won’t just give you unless there is a code. Please assist. Thanks.

airbus330

Just to add another positive review of Readly. Great range of Mags plus a few weekly newspapers. Well worth trying.

amour3k

Well, according to the former/above, you can ... lol.

Thanks OP! Is it okay to subscribe, cancel and still enjoy the benefits? I might to forget to cancel otherwise (flirt)

nastypasty

Have only been using it for a couple of days and i'm sure i'll be carrying on with the subscription after the trial. The app works brilliantly on my ne £50 Kindle Fire HD 8 :-)

You can search for magazines or even keywords within mags and it brings them all back.

Which mags are you looking for?

Swooshie

I'm on a months trial at the moment with them, can definitely recommend.

Zuulan

Just read 2-3 mags a month and Readly is likely to be cheaper. Like the Op I took up a trail subscription and have stuck with them ever since. Something I very rarely do.

8. Do I need to download an app to use Readly? To read magazines on Readly you will need to download our app to your phone or tablet from the App Store or Google Play Store. You can also read on your computer with our web browser version of Readly at: go.readly.com Not sure if cancellation is instant or whether you have to put it in a calendar

Donzy12

So in theory I could set an account up then cancel and still get my 2 months worth? call me stupid now, but do you read via an app? Or the Internet on your phone?

cambargins

wondered why cold. usually free trials going hot. anyone know better deal on similar offer?

craigsmith3

it's a trial, no need to pay anything.

roll_me_some

Agree. But 7 pounds a month is bit over my limit. Now if it was around 3.50 a month I would sign up

Works fantastic,no need for credit card details. Used before. Just create new email address and try it out. Readly a very secure and excellent app, used off and on for over a year. Thanks.

No downloads I am afraid, but the Android/iOS apps do have an off-line reading function. See FAQ here.

Is there any way to download these as PDFs, or may magazines be viewed only in the browser/app?

Worked for me, superb deal, OP!

Never buy many magazines again, best thing out there been a subscriber for a year or so now and really enjoy being able to read MOST magazines. Worth giving it a try out, heat from me.

Gozer

My refunds came through pretty quickly. You should contact them if they haven't given you those extras months for £1 but you have paid. The same here, never heard of them and would have never paid £8 a month, but now I've tried it and seen how many magazines are available I think I'll continue my subscription at the full price. I've even bought a bigger tablet to read them on.

tascheman

Anyone had a refund yet? Logging into website shows subscription ending one month after current subscription ended - but Android and Windows apps shoe subscription running until April 2018. Didn't get an e-mail either.

lukeyboymac

I'd never heard of readly before - must have been living in a cave. This glitch has actually gained them a new customer. It's a great service with most of the mags I read. Not sure anything can replace reading a proper mag or going home and seeing your new episode on the doorstep. Thanks OP

Gozer

A pity but we can't say it's not fair. Always worth trying these things. Got a nice months preview though.

Crapweasel

Yep, same here! Just hope they refund each of the £1 payments. *sob!* :(

anyone else manged to get two months?

It's got much better since it started as well. when you logon you can now choose different profiles (like Netflix) so I don't get the mother in laws 'Women's Own', the wife's 'Heat, OK etc' or the kids 'beans' in my favourites

As Readr has just gone up £1 per month, I reckon I'm going to jump ship to Readly after the 2 week trial, and using the Bespoke offer. The only disadvantage I can see is that Readly cannot be paid for using ITunes credit, whereas Readr can. This means that I won't be able to buy discounted ITunes credit to get the subscription at a reduced price. Am I correct in this assumption?

SpenJC

Readly is class the bespoke offer is the best

EDEN188

here you go https://www.bespokeoffers.co.uk/consumer/offers/3-month-readly-subscription--a35ca

EDEN188

Forgot to add, only reason I went with Magzter is because it has a bigger collections of magazines which Readly doesn't have. BTW, I believe there is a Bespoke.com deal for £14.99 for 3 months of Readly.com.

EDEN188

I have subscribed to the Magzter and I think their software (Android and Windows 8) are poor in comparison to Readly (on trial). Magzter software doesn't remember the favourite selection of magazines I have added between Android and Win 8, also the user experience to read any articles in Win8 is a nightmare. Oh, customer service?? You can forget that, emailed last Monday and heard nothing back. Appalling!!
