It was on their email newletter.
Where can I find this deal in the app please? I don't see it
Well they are about to go bust along with Byron and co
It's my birthday on 5th march, think I can get 2 free sides...
Just add another £15 for 2 lots of 'fries', some onion rings, and some sweetcorn or coleslaw - bargain!
It is worth to check your debit card’s offers too as I am with lloyds and they do cash back on gbk 10%. I know it can be account specific but still. Good luck! ;)
I bet it comes in two?
works out cheaper than student discount. Thanks OP! Dont forget the free monkey nuts!
wow what a deal!
You'll have me spitting feathers.
I got an email from GBK so must work once you place order Order and Collect. The ability to order takeaway burgers on your phone and pick them up when you're ready. It's like sorcery, and the finest use of tech we've ever seen. If you've not tried it before? Here - buy a burger using Order and Collect and voilà - get the second one free! And why not risk it for brisket? Try our latest special, The Brisket Burger. It’s special enough to unite a divided nation.
I'm not seeing this in the app. Is it new customers only? (I've only used the app in the restaurant)
It was good, thanks for the tip
No no thank you.
No, thank you for not replying
No, but thanks for asking.
Tried the £7 offer and was very underwhelmed. Service was awful as well (waited 15 mins for the 3rd person's burger to arrive; it had been forgotten. Did refund the money, though).
Looks a good deal there burgers are really nice
Ridiculous, only one person per party get the discount! We ordered 3 classic burgers but they only discounted one!
It's not burger and chips for a a fiver though, it's £5 for just a burger.
Not sure either. I have never been one myself tbh. Just had their newsletter sent to me that's all.
Only if you believe the burger to be a negative.
I thought this was a great offer at first glance. But it's only about £2 off normal price. GBK used to do great offers in their app but not so much any more.
Worked a treat valid for 6 months.
Even though the burgers come from the freezer GBK is pretty good. Great spot (cheeky)
Check your bank account if you are with lloysd tsb. I have 10% cash back on it. I dont know if its account specific. But worth a tr
only a matter of time before this gets pulled now!
Thanks we were gonna visit there next week! Great timing
went in for this yesterday skinny fries cheeseburger and irn bru for just £2.40
Ordered for take away and it worked. Not just for eat in.
I got one also. Look for lapsed in your GBK app
Great offer for those that have it. Sadly I don't
That's an impressive list of terms and conditions for what could have been a simple offer!
sorry. what's apples and pears is comparing a pub/restaurant to a supermarket. it's you who's made the extreme comparison in an attempt to belittle a reasonable comparison! in both a pub and a restaurant you can be served a drink and enjoy it sitting down. try doing that in a supermarket? how do you like them apples!
Reasonable offer. The beers in 330ml bottles are pretty averagely priced compared to other restaurants. £4 to 5 for 330ml is standard, even at Prezzo, Bella Italia etc. GBK often appears on my halifax rewards with 15-20% cashback so a bit of a savings there. Comparing the price of a beer at GBK to a pub is a little apples and pears, they're even cheaper in the supermarket !!!
I paid a fiver gor a can of beer in there. 330ml for £4.95. Burger average. Beer average... service average. Cold
just had a look at their menu and it seems they sell 330ml beers for between 4-5pounds you get 660ml of beer with BOGOF instead of 568ml is a standard pint.. it's only 16.2% more beer you're getting, and a standard pint might be a bit cheaper anyway depending on the pub.
i think this is tepid but not hot... ... you have to order a burger... ...it doesn't apply to the 500ml (almost a pint) beers but presumably to the Budweiser/Corona size of bottles which are 275/330ml from memory.
🍔🍔🍔 :D (y) Delicious! No queue, Excellent service and GBK even changed the brioche to a regular bun and removed the cheese for me to have some nod to healthy eating! :D (y) 🍔🍔🍔
not bad for free i suppose.
sounds good to me! GBK is much better than handmade burger
Yes that is exactly what it is - a cheap marketing ploy! Newsflash: There is no such thing as a free dinner. 50 people in each location get to try the product for free and, hopefully, tell all their friends how good the burger is. It's actually pretty risky because the burger might be rubbish and they'll tell their friends never to go! Seems like a fair deal to me.
Do you have a list of restaurants that will cook this for you when you take the ingredients in? And for free? You do know this is for, you know... people who are probably out for the day... shopping or on a date or something? It's kinda why restaurants exist.
Ate at their venue at the NEC a few weeks back - only place that was available. What a ridiculous and expensive business model! Just goes to show we are a nation of complete idiots. Want chips with your burger - that's £3.50 - want ketchup or any other sauces? Another £1 if you don't mind. Burger and chips with sauce, works out about £15 each. You don't even get table service for that - order at the bar - like Whetherspoons. Miserable staff who looked like they could of walked in off the street - apparently no uniform., trainers and tatts. Once was enough!!
I'm sure everyone that handled your "freshly baked rolls" washed their hands beforehand. And that tomato and onion? Naturally fertilised!
finest beef burger 6Oz 170G - £1.00 x 2 = £2.00 large, freshly baked roll - £0.30 x 3 - £0.60 4 slices of cheese - £0.40 tomato - £0.30 1 onion - £0.20 lettuce - £0.40 total for 2 burgers at home is £ 4.00 cooking time 30 minutes why you people are so fricking lazy? and how can you say that £12 for 2 burgers is a deal? did you ever work at any restaurant? do you you know how many waiters / chefs / food handlers actually washes their hands after using toilet or handling money ?
who the fudge pays 6.00 for a burger? it better come with money mayonnaise....
I downloaded and signed up to the app a while back...only went on it today to find if I have the deal and I do. Give it a couple days once signing up.
only baconnaise :( i guess you have to have used the app to order previously to get this offer
Showing for me!! Awesome thanks!!!
No free burger only a baconnaise sauce voucher
[quote=AW0079]Just had my burger, came with chips and sauce. Hey so when it says lunch us they gave you a burger and fries? Cheers
What a waste.
Wish I'd had time to go for this, nice freebie. Thanks for posting, heat added
Thank you op! I enjoyed a veggie burger and skinny fries side today.
Gbk Belsize Park and Baker Street locations no longer valid:(
Eat in only in the t&cs. It's gonna be a tight squeeze in the Soho branch. It's bad enough when they have a few dozen people in there on a normal day.
I used to work for a Derby based catering butcher called Fairfax Meadow. This company supplies all GBK's patties,@ around 50 pence per pattie. Take from that what you will.
Was that an inspection by the EHO by any chance? Last time I had a burger at GBK it was raw in the middle. Salmonella anyone?
Not bad burgers, cheap enough at 6 quid. Why does everyone want you to download an app to get a discount these days, though? It's obviously going straight in the bin after one use, so I don't really understand what the point is...
Got turned away from GBK yesterday because they were having an inspection and they were behind on schedule. The restaurant wasn't even a third full. Completely unrelated to the value of the deal but shocking customer service and a bizarre policy. Told us we would have to wait 30 minutes for a table and we couldn't even sit down for a drink.
Make sure that stupid free Baconnaise Sauce not in your basket, replace it with 2 Burgers for £12 deal.
seriously, who are we - George Osborne?!? at these prices - we'll have to post pictures of ourselves eating burgers just to keep the memory alive... 8)
but that costs extra, the email i received said upgrade to the rump
Has anyone seen a decent lease deal on a Time Machine?
Does anyone know if this works for online orders like deliveroo or in store only?
As a matter of fact I have got one, but I very rarely use it. In this instance I don't need to - as I can simply just wait a few weeks for the 2 for £10 deal to return as per the usual cycle. There are much better uses for my time machine. E.g. sending sarcastic individuals like yourself back to the times of the neanderthal where you belong springs to mind.
