Usually in the £15-£20 region, was £8 on tesco, now down to £6. I have their SC-1 which seems to be similar except for the colour scheme and I'm very pleased with it, solid build, good feel from the buttons, xbox layout. When you have two small kids who use them enthusiastically and official controllers are around £35...

Someone said they refunded the difference on a Wii U deal they'd recently bought, worth a try i say.

Nearly bought for £8. Bit this time!!

My red/black one from Asda was lovely...until one of the triggers went unreliable.

Happy to get a replacement for £6...hope I have better luck with it.

This works with PC too, right?

I wonder if it's possible to get it working in Android (connecting the dongle via OTG)

If you don't collect within 2 weeks it just goes back and is refunded I believe. I'm in the same situation and have just ordered again but I'm collecting from a different tesco's so I don't end up collecting the wrong order.

Gave the vx1 a miss, even though the sticks are like that of the ps3... It holds two AA batteries. Got this instead.

VX-1 can be had for £5 here, and has HDMI & USB cables thrown in.

Oddly the pack advertises the USB cable as being a "Play & Charge" cable, yet the VX-1 does NOT support recharging of batteries via USB.

IMO the GC-2 is still the the better buy, as it has the integrated rechargeable battery.

Looks like they've sold out of the GC-2

The VX-1 Mega pack (£5) is still available though. (linked in my post immediately above)

I have a question about these wireless Bluetooth controllers. I bought the PS3 for my son at Christmas and I don't know much about them. He has the official controller which came with the PS3 and I have bought him 3 of these Gioteck controllers but it seems you can only use 2 of them at a time due to there only being 2 USB ports for the Bluetooth dongles. I'm I right or am I doing something wrong. thanks in advance.

You can use a USB hun to add more ports. This should allow you to use more controllers.

The Huns were a nomadic group of people who are known to have lived in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia between the 1st century AD and the 7th century. They were first reported living east of the Volga River, in an area that was part of Scythia at the time; the Huns' arrival is associated with the migration westward of a Scythian people, the Alans.[1] They were first mentioned as Hunnoi by Tacitus. In 91 AD, the Huns were said to be living near the Caspian Sea and by about 150 AD had migrated southeast into the Caucasus.[2] By 370 AD, the Huns had established a vast, if short-lived, dominion in Europe.

No information about them being able to add additional USB ports to consoles.

I might try that to get the other one before its returned. Seems an absolute bargain at £6 and wouldn't mind another.

received and opened. great buy works perfectly picks up controller faster than original one I have. bargain at £6

Testing on PC.

The square & triangle buttons are very unresponsive =/
It's like they're 2 on-state micro-switches, and only when they're heavily depressed do they register a button press.

Also, has anyone got an idea wtf this instruction expects you to do: (quoted from here)

7. You may notice now that when moving the right stick in this window, … 7. You may notice now that when moving the right stick in this window, the left trigger also shows as being triggered. To circumvent this you will need to follow another step. Press the save button and close the application.8. Following this, please download the “xinput1_3.dll” file and copy and paste this into the game folder as the x360ce application, thereby replacing the current .dll file that will have been installed there.

Download which version of xinput1_3.dll? and from where??

:edit:

Fixed it; you need the xinput1_3.dll from here:

code.google.com/p/x…;q=

copy it over the version that x360ce automatically creates.
No idea why x360ce doesn't use this newer version of the dll to start out with...

:Edit:

Ended up asking for a return & refund.
Tesco CS refunded me, and told me they didn't want the controller back - I was free to dispose of it as I wished.

Went to GAME, and traded it in for £12 gift card+£0.12 of loyalty points
