Was in Asda Ashington yesterday, and saw this. I noticed they were selling them a couple of weeks ago for £50 (reduced from £86) and did some googling and the feedback seemed quite good.

(note this is an in-store deal. the Asda->Direct' website is sold out and still showing c£50).

The links to my 'google whacking' are in post #2.

NB... this (Q1455) is the same camera as the GE-A1455, apart from it takes a lithium battery as opposed to 2x AA batteries. (start blurb)...

They're more than pictures, they're memories frozen in time. Don't trust those precious moments to anything other than this 14.2 megapixel digital camera. The GE Q1455 (this one) takes a lithium battery. There aren't too many reviews for it, apart from a QVC (US) page Check the mega-cheesy product presentation video:
qvc.com/qic…BV1

The GE A1455 (the same model with AA battery usage) has multiple (good) reviews however, ie:

They weren't in the normal av section btw!.. were in the first/2nd isle as you come in towards the middle of the store (behind the Women's clothing).. where they put the reducued/clearence stuff.. top shelf.

Also had quite a few GE-X5 DSLR's there when i was there (Friday) for £60!.. ie this one:

got one at ASDA Southfield, they didn't know that the price was £35. had it marked at £50.(for a long time). When scanned it showed £35.00 -so sold the HOTDEALSUK website to them too.on a downside, unless I'm just unlucky, there is no included 2G SD Card...
