Superb price of £30 (free delivery until 27th September) for an iPhone wireless charger.

Next cheapest I found was about £50 on amazon or ebay.

The way it works... put your iPhone 3G/3GS in the special case, then when you want to charge it place it on the mat.

It takes the same time to charge as a normal wired charger

Most shops sell this for around £79.99

How is this better than a normal charger?

That's not the question in hand.

This is cheap for the item - the last one sold second hand on eBay for £35 + postage.

This will get hot.

So how much is the special case then as its useless without one

Never mind just seen it comes with one although it still needs the charger plugging in so why not just save 30 quid by plugging it into the wall

Read the item description...

"Wireless charge pad and case for iPhone 3G / 3GS".

Why am I even bothered? It's not even my deal. Hulse2k, you take over.

What a waste of money. Found this in Edinburgh HMV a month ago for the same price. For the sake of being so bone idle to plug your phone in to charge you get a bulky case that impedes the charge socket so you have to take it off anyway to sync and use peripherals.

Defend it all you like.

It's just cheap for what it is, that's all. Makes a good present for those with a modern desk/bedside table.
I suppose it does save you getting scratches on the bottom of your phone where you would normally plug it in everyday.

Can't you get something similar that charges different things? ie. iPhones, nokias, and wii remotes.

If you can then one charges all and only one buy. Now that would be ace!!!

you can yeah. I think belkin do them. You buy the mat, then a special case for each thing you would like to charge. Works out quite expensive though buying all the cases for different items

Can I ask why you said free delivery until 27th September hulse? It's always free delivery at HMV is it not?

Not always free delivery no, there is an advert on the site somewhere saying free delivery until monday 27th September

HMV is always free delivery, not sure where you saw this but everything is free delivery.

Nice idea but is it gonna be one of those gadgets you use for a month then go back to the basic thing you started with ?

gone back to 89.99 damn
