I find these non Bluetooth ones always work better. I have this one and it's very very good. My Bluetooth mice whilst convenient do not offer the same amount of excellent experience these do. For example power saving kicking in too early after a second and constantly having to wake it up. I have 4 Bluetooth mice from 3 brands and they are all a pain.
Why would it not? It should. You would be better off using a Bluetooth mouse though, providing your Raspberry Pi is one of the latest models that incorporate it (If only not to occupy one of the USB ports)
An obligatory "Would it work on a Raspberry Pi?" Could come in handy when emulating Amiga/Atari ST games.
cheap as chips! 80hrs doesn't seem long though? Some last a year or two?
