whats this game like?

Kind of average for a racer. The tracks are all a little ‘samey’ and the cars don’t exactly give a sense of speed.

There is a nice progressions system in the form of a garage that you upgrade and then using the garage upgrade your cars, but the upgrades really don’t feel like your making the cars better simply meeting requirements of race entrance.

For this price though if your craving a a racer on the switch there’s little not much else out there. I know there’s grid but that’s more simulation based from what I hear.

Grid isn't a sim. Definitely a full on arcade racer.

Only heard bad things about this game though. I'd definitely get Grid over this.

Ahh sorry my bad, I thought it was more sim than arcade. Good to know I may look into in that case.

Only played the first game but this honestly looks like more of the same, the cars handle weird and overstear strangely, the AI will follow one path most of the time and look like a train more then a bunch of race cars.

Best waiting for Burnout Paradise.
Asphalt 9 is good arcadey fun for free on the Switch, with new cars and events added every now and then (+ 4 player local split screen). Might save someone a tenner
I was really gonna bite at this price, I've been looking at this for a while since it's release. But reading some of the comments here, it's reminded me of Test Drive Unlimited back on the PS2. Dark days.
Its 8.72 on the s.a eshop ..still a bargain, still may snap it up
I’m in the uk, and can’t buy from the South African store using revolut. I was able to at first, but now haven’t been able to for 3 weeks.

how are other people buying this from the South African store?

wgen I get to the final purchase screen and press purchase I get the error...

“error code 2813-2470 you cannot use this credit card, please check with your credit card company for details”

really frustrating!
Just create a new nintendo account on nintendo.co.uk, put your country as South Africa..( you may need to set up a new email aswell)..then on your switch create a new user and and log i with the South African account ...the s.a eshop is the same as the UK but cheaper...and you can you use your UK debit card as normal ( I think there is a 2% charge )...ive saved so much money using the s.a estore

Don’t try and make a purchase for 30 days then try again.

Unfortunately some people are being locked out of buying even on new accounts. Region switching your UK account is the best way but for some no matter what they do Nintendo stops their payment. Leaving it 30 days then trying again has worked for some.

On your phone/PC, sign into your Nintendo account, go to settings in top right then:
1. User information
2. Profile
3. Country / region and select South Africa

It will warn you that all any credit on your account will be lost. (gold/silver coins carry over).

I tried this last week and seemed to work fine, with my regular debit card that was already saved to my account.

If you want cheap prices and PayPal, you could select Russia as your country, however it will change all the displayed text to Russian. (S.A. eshop is all in English).

Back on your Switch, you will need to sign into your account again, but that's it. No Revolut required.

The first one was literally a shoddy mobile port, which was barely worth a few pounds, has this improved in any significant way??
