Follow the steps to get GEARS 5 for free.
Step 1 - Install the latest version of the Xbox App and Xbox Insider Hub
Step 2 - Launch the Xbox app. Log in to your new or existing Microsoft account. If you have installed all the updates, a shortcut to the Xbox Insider Program should appear next to the bell icon ("Notifications").
Step 3 - Click on the Xbox Insider Program icon and sign up for the test program, then join the Xbox Accessibility Insider League.
Step 4 - Then find and select "XAIL Gears 5 Accessibility", which will allow you to add Gears 5 to your Microsoft account for free.
Gears 5 supports Xbox Play Anywhere, so when picked up on PC, it should also be available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S.
