I've seen some pretty bad enclosures that are going for this look, but I actually really like this one, it definitely looks more solid and well made, that's for sure. Comes with the case, fan and screwdriver.

Cheaper than Retroflags NesPi case!

It IS Retroflags NesPi case. Mine arrived this week, from an eBay seller. Superb quality case.

Nice but waiting for a decent Snes case or better yet a Dreamcast one, not that the Pi can really play Dreamcast games

Uh... The NES and SNES minis can play more than just NES and SNES games too. Doesnt take significantly more messing around than an RPi would. And they come with controllers. If you can find one for a decent price they're great. Factor the case and quality controllers into the rpi cost and the SNES isn't even all that expensive.

None of which stops this case being awesome

You don't have to do anything with the Pi unless you want to, I just downloaded an image and everything was setup ready to go.

Looks superb....

same price on amazon too...sorry cheaper

Just a headsup, its $5 off $15 spend, and $10 off $30 spend.

Since this isnt quite $30, you only get $5 off. But that makes it the right to OPs price.

However, if you chose the option with the controllers it pushes it over $30 and you can use the $10 coupon. These means for an extra quid you can get two controllers. Not sure if theyre any good but for a quid, who cares?

Is this a worthy company? Do they actually deliver products?

Not even close to being the same case...

This and C4 Labs are (for me) the absolute best in Raspberry Pi 3 cases.

Not used them recently but I've used them 20+ times in the past...
They're the GearBest / Banggood of yesteryear.

Didin't realise I already had an account, my previous order in 2014 was delivered no problem. Can confirm in 7-20 days.

Edit: Reordered the Game+Console+Case bundle, Paypal cost was £18.37 after applying the $10 coupon (nice suggestion). Fancy footwork was required for new coupon, then cancelled previous order and refund was immediate - that's a recommendation right there.

NesPi case alone is £17.17 at BangGood so this is an excellent deal.

If you buy the complete bundle with two controllers, fan and heat sink it is still less than £20 ! Great deal... just hope it arrives ! It is way better than the cheap cases on ebay as it comes with a power switch circuit board. Which fixes the only problem with the pi 3. Thanks OP !

I picked up a RPi with 2 controllers for about £30 recently. Got it up and running nes, snes, gameboy, game gear, mega drive and few others within 10 mins.

Been thinking about 'building' an emulation machine and this was the nudge I needed. Suppose I'd best buy a Pi now too! Thanks OP

Good deal, and I'm trying my hardest to buy the 2 controller package, but the website is shite on chrome over android and won't apply the code correctly

Oh well, I've just saved myself 20 quid!

coupon expired now

Yeah, for £30 over RRP.

Got one of these Nespi cases from Ebay a while ago for £15 delivered. It's easy enough to find a certain website with links to torrents for many images of retropie or recalbox pre-loaded with thousands of roms with a quick Google for any ARCADE PUNKS who want to do it.....

Nice find. This will do nicely for the retropie project I have been meaning to get up and running for the last few years. Just the pi itself and a power adapter needed now

Pi = £35
PSU £5
Case £16
SD Card £10
£66 Excluding Time and Effort
So not really much of a price difference.

Thank you Just ordered 1 from Amazon :-)

Have the nespi case awesome little case really well built!

Code doesn't seem to be applying for me. Good deal otherwise though.

This comes with all of that for £46.

Plus good luck getting a NES Mini for RRP.

It's not the same one though. These ones are pretty much exactly the same as NES mini. Amazon is a generic shape one with NES paint job

Thanks a lot, OP! I bought the set with the controllers to apply $10 off. On top of that, I had $9.30 in store credit I had long forgotten so it worked out at £11.05

Factor another £25min for a decent pad like 8bitdo, prob £20 for 64gb sd card. Still wipes floor with the mini nes/snes anyday

My first set up was:

Pi3 from a UK seller on Ebay who has OEM ones (no fancy box) - £26
Nespi Case from Chinese seller on Ebay - £15
5a 2.5v Power supply with on off switch on the cable, again from Ebay - £4
32gb Sandisk (always use Sandisk on a Pi3) from Amazon - £10
Tronsmart G01 pad from Amazon (you can hide the wireless receiver inside the case) - £15

You can even buy the transfers for these that say "Nintendo Entertainent System"

You use a magic eraser to rub off the Nespi red writing then apply the transfer like the old decals for Airfix kits

Here is the Ebay seller

£15.29 delivered and Paypal/Ebay coverage

Does anyone know what the connections to the gpio pins are for? I am wondering if I can cram a Google aiy kit inside to make it look nice and unique

It doesn't use any GPIO pins. It connects to power (04) and ground (06).

It would be good if it was a little more advanced such as:

- Ethernet routed to the back, under the front flap is annoying.

- power/reset running a shutdown script then cutting power - to prevent SD card issues.

- Fan having some speed/temperature control rather than just running full speed which is very noisy.

It's a great bit of kit though, I was impressed with it.
