Geforce GTX 1060 6gb Founders Edition - In Stock - £279 at NVidia Store

It's incredible difficult to find the 6gb version of this card in stock under £300 so this seems like it would be helpful to people. Not sure how long it will stay in stock for.

This is the founders edition of the card which is allegedly made with better quality components so may overclock better. Not sure how true this is, can't find any direct comparisons with this model and others but I'd guess it's at least better than the budget zotac and PNY ones.

Worth noting that the 6gb version of this card actually has a more powerful chip than the 3gb version, there's more of a difference than just ram.

Ewww founders edition, miners will still buy it though. 🔥
I'm looking for a 1060 6GB right now, but founders edition is not what I'm looking for preferably something with better cooling & built-in OC.

I'm considering because everywhere else is out of stock. I have an order for one on a site for a PNY which said it had 3 in stock but it turns out they didn't, I either have to wait indefinitely or get a refund.

Wasn't Gameseek was it? I was burnt by their "in stock" cards
Grr this is silly I want a 1070ti or 1080 and nothing anywhere
for 1080p gaming this is the best option, imo.

This blower cooling is good for people with mini-itx / small case builds.

£279 for the 6GB version compared to the prices of the aftermarket cards makes this a good deal.

I bought mine at launch for £275 for use with an mini ITX system that has no active cooling inside and it performs really well. The heat is exhausted from the back so the ambient temperatures inside the case stay pretty cool.

My only gripe is that the Nvidia returns department are absolutely rubbish. I tried to return the card after a week as I bought a RX480 8GB for rather cheap. The return was denied without a reason and they would take almost a week to reply to me with some automated BS.

4 in stock here for 299, not sure if its any good to you.
These card may start coming down in price soon due to the current crypto currency slump.

Personally I think the best value card for 1080p gaming at the moment is the 4gb gtx 770, can be had for about £100 on ebay, facebook marketplace, gumtree etc.

If you have a good enough power supply that is.

I bought a 'damaged box' used excellent condition one from amazon warehouse, £197, when it arrived it was brand new with a dinted box... I know that is likely a very lucky purchase but worth keeping an eye on amazon (For info was this model EVGA)
This is still in stock, as is the 1080.

My current order is £240 and is for the XLR8 version which is slightly better (but slightly uglier IMO), so I don't really want to go up from that. (£60 increase isn't worth it for me - for this card anyway).

I'll make sure to keep an eye out for that, it seems like they probably come and go really quickly. Does warranty transfer to you? (I'm guessing it depends on manufacturer - EVGA are pretty good for that sort of thing right?)

Thanks everyone

Cryptocurrency market went up about 25% today (last 24 hours), I don't feel like it's going anywhere but up anytime soon.

SEC said some good stuff about it or something (there will be no blockchain without bitcoin) and the market of even the mineable currencies depend on Bitcoin.

Do not trust novatech. They'll take your money, call you when its in stock saying the price has gone up, and ask you to cancel or pay more.
