Good price, just sold my gigabyte one 2nd hand for £260
Single fan would be a problem for myself, I have a 1060 and it gets hot with two fans.

The two fan version is double juice though, the mini would just get as warm and not warmer. You could also get a case that has decent air flow to help the GPU. Still a good price either way,

Price is good.. can't go wrong. Like I said it's just in my scenario, may not be an issue for others.

Or August according to other rumours...
New models will not push price down like before. There are whole companies buying cards not just players. Also new cryptocurrency are launched every week or so lol.

Difficulty will spike up with the new gen if they are better for mining, so your rig that makes you £20 a month will be making £5 or less unless you keep up.

There are so many Pascal cards that have been bought, expect a mass flood of cheap cards to hit eBay when it happens.

You're hoping for the fiat make believe pounds/dollars/euros to succeed then?

They only exist on your imagination as well. At least crypto costs money to produce and serves a real world purpose ..

How do you think the banks issues mortgages?

How do you think credit cards work?.

I would suggest a little bedtime reading.
I don't understand the whole crypto thing. What the heck are they mining? Who left the money in the first place?

Its like Bitcoin, but they are mining new currencies which can still be made. Some of it is smoke and mirrors and a bit like the diamond trade, where its value is only what u put on it. People are making the coin and then selling it for real money.
Last year there was sudden jump in value, meaning it became prfoitable to mine coins using off the shelf parts.

Sooooo this meant people started buying 10+ GPUs and the price went high. Personally I think this has reduced any incetive for manufacturers to realese newer cards (unless they become cheaper to make)

Crypto currencies are showing up the fiat system for what it is.. a Ponzi scheme.
At least it's now putting the brakes on thier shenanigans.

Without competition how would you expect better value, customer service or better products?

Crypto currencies, this generation at least, are showing everyone that Crypto Currencies are the ponzi scheme.

If you are trying to say that Bitcoin is a ponzi scheme, therefore so is every other currency. Fine. I don't agree, but it isn't that terrible of a jumping off point.

Fiat has government backing, you may not think that's important... But it is.
