You need to add the price

Great price, though Overclockers aren't exactly renowned for their customer service/returns. Just pray what you'll be getting will be OK.

Voted hot anyway!

This is their black dragon range this has been at this price for ages the ultra is less and better ram even though i got 4 gig of the ultra 3 weeks ago im voting cold as everyman and his dog knows OC are selling cheap geil its been on here twice.

I've dealt with Overclockers in the past and I've had no problems with customer service. I had to return some items and they took it back no questions asked. I guess it just depends on who you deal with.

does this qualify for £10 google checkout aswell?
if so then even better xD
good prices, if only i was impatient, new comp in january sales, best time

I am using said memory now from said company. It doesn't overclcok very well and says on the sticks it needs 2.1V to run stably however, at this voltage it caused errors in memtest and works perfectly fine at 1.9V. Also, I can certainly vouch for the lack of service/backup at OcUK, living only 5 mins away I go to the shop in person and the attitude of the staff and managers is unbelievable. I can't think of the last time I went and didn't see anyone complaining and threatening to take them to court. Thankfully I am one of the few people who have had little problems with them. They certainly are not my first choice for buying PC products however their memory prices are very cheap.

How many people did you sample in your customer service analysis of the company? Was it statistically relevant?

You can add me to your analysis as having no problems after about 8 purchases with them.

I didn't sample anyone. Visit their shop that's proof enough.

Can you use different speed ram in a PC?
I have 400MHz

Well if anybody actually bothered to click on the deal, you will find that it is in fact the Geil Utlra Low Latency Ram that is on offer, not the Black Dragon Ram that is pictured.
The OP or a mod might want to put the correct picture in the 1st post.

That's not the right picture either: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/pimg/MY-058-GL_400.jpg

Not the same brand but the same stuff, in terms of speed etc:

£30.49 inc. VAT. I'm not sure no their delivery costs as I live local to them so would pick up, but certainly cheaper.

Probably won't overclock as well, but it's great stuff for staying at stock settings.

Ive got 4GB of this stuff in my machine, a year ago it was probably the best memory to get and i paid £100 per 2GB!

It has good over clocking quallities.
Cant remember of hand what ive set mine to

Also bought it from overclockers, ive dont loads of orders with, all been spot on

Blackhorse, i love the GEIL stuff, was answering the post above mine, i'll quote it next time.

It's 'generic' - don't touch the stuff unless you're building a budget PC. Even then don't - IMHO it's better to pay a little more for better quality RAM, or even go for slower (PC2-5300) but quality RAM for the same money.

This was posted in 2004... I think they might just have improved quite a bit since then.

I use them a lot (including for an nVidia GeForce 8800XT card which I received yesterday, which arrived well packed in an external box) and have no complaints about them at all.

They even answer the 'phone these days!
