Slightly better Gelert tent with 2000hh and a sewn in ground sheet best I can find is about £130, on other Sports Direct sites is £100 plus postage, Field and Trek it's now been altered to £100 - was £90 plus postage (5) last week. Don't why but they price the same item on sport direct sites at different prices this always seems to be the lowest of the 5 I know about - anyway not too bad value for a half decent tent.......

We had this tent (still do, but don't use it) and it's a decent one. Stood up to driving rain and winds, plus on one campsite we had a huge lake under the tent for a few hours and it stayed waterproof.
As all tents, I would advise a under groundsheet to protect the built in one and a carpet's always nice.

I know we bought a deal which included all three, though I can't remember the price.

Daft question just ordering dose it come with tent pegs

With todays metal prices i doubt it, cheap ones to find at poundland at whole £ maybe 99p. Good luck!

quick pointer, Sports Direct now own Gelert so i suspect these are not the quality that the brand was once known with such as other brands they have purchased and made cheaply, Karrimore etc

I am tempted by this but 2000hh seems a bit low

For the uninitiated like me; what is "hh" a measure of?

Effectively it's the waterproof rating.......this will help : getoutwiththekids.co.uk/fam…ad/

My Vango Beta 350 is rated at 3000hh and stood upto the rains in the West Country on Saturday!

Mine is 6000 hh though I try to avoid camping in the rain so never tested it.

2000 is the utter minimum, to be honest, I wouldn't buy a 2000hh, if it properly rains in the night, you will likely get wet. After a few uses and its' waterproofing is down on new, it'll not survive even a day of light rain.

Not true. It poured it down most of the time on our 2 weeks in Wales. Terrible weather. The tent stood up to all the weather that was thrown at us. No problem.

It's down to £87 today (plus postage) I've ordered one to be delivered tomorrow and hopefully tested at the weekend.

HH2200, no thanks
