This is a pop up tent at a great price, normally retailing at £25 - £30. If you can live with a purple tent and I have since 1993, when they were all the rage, then you'll be getting a bargain. Ideal as a festival tent or just to have in the boot of your car, when a spur of the moment sleep in the wilds is your thing, this item is a truly great deal!

Easy tiger. They're pretty hard to get back into the sack once they've popped up.

Used this at a festival this weekend in the rain - was good and easy to pop up and away. They have them in sports direct too so picked it up for £8

No deal re postage, apart from the fact that I bought 2 and the postage was still only £4.99 for both. Other colours too for £12, unfortunately, red has gone, which was £8 too

At this price you could just abandon it after the festival like so many did in Leeds. From BBC news

It's fairly easy, you just have to minipulate it with your fingers properly and it slips back in.

aaaaand another rubbish single skin tent with a low hydrostatic head. Don't use them for festivals people, you will end up regretting it.

What sort of size are they folded up?

Might be good for the beach or garden but wouldn't want to rely on this if there's the remotest chance of rain, or even dew to be honest.

Remember this is the disgraceful Sports Direct

Thanks op. Ordered and some fleece tops too. Voted hot.

gelert is owned by sports direct

I think it's important to note that it must be your *own* fingers. If anyone else decides to jump in and assist with their own hands it's only going to take longer.

Lighten up squire, 1500hh more than enough, it can condense a fair bit in certain circumstances.....but for £8? Unfortunately, often people leave them behind, leaving untold waste, at least it's only a few bob up your shirt. :-)

I find it takes both arms fully stretched to get round the girth and then all my strength to try and get it back in the little sack it came out of. There must be an easy way to do it?

Just gone to order from Sports Direct, but they still want to charge a fiver for picking it up from their store. No way!

Well if you get this one, probably nobody is going to bother breaking in to steal your drugs and pants and stuff.

Sports Direct crap.

£16 now SMBC that's without delivery charges!

Wouldn't buy from Sport Direct whatever the price

A welsh company since 1975, selling value for money camping kit, only latterly bought by Sports Direct .

Even without rain you will still get wet in these tents be warned

ANY bivouac, single skin tent of any description will condensate unless they have no waterproofing at all. It's the water resistant lining/ coating that stops the water from escaping. Two people within it will certainly make the matter worse. Good venting will reduce the effect, cold days will increase the effect. This has nothing to do with the manufacturer or the price, just saying. Spend a lot and there are gortex single skin tents that will breathe.
