The regular price is WAS £79.99
The sale price is SAVE £29.99
£50.00

on-line

The price on-line is £50.00 (but they also have 10% off all camping equipment so down to £45.00) - but in store they are stickered at £30.00.

Hydrostatic Head: 3000mm , not bad for the price.

Was in Halfords in Dumfries on Wednesday and noticed these but they were definitely stickered at £50 then

good instore price if you can find it

Nice. Click cold by mistake sorry - it's hot!

these pop up tents are great, I've had a 2 man for a number of years now and as long as your pitching near your car it's the only way to go

Quick tents but bear in the size when they are down. Nearly a metre in radius so fiddly to get in your boot with other things too!

Have to agree that they are surprisingly big....but we set it up in the garden within minutes and had it packed away really quickly as well.

Great deal, just reserved 1 but will ring the store to see if it's £30.00 as £45.00 reserved.

Thanks

Good for the price. And fine for car camping in the summer.

Anyone else seen them instore for this price? Reserved one but its a 30 mile round trip so wanted to be sure!

just been into epsom store and £45 and same at new malden

looks like it might be certain stores only

1 in evesham - for £54.95

I've reserved one for £45 online. Given the number of very good reviews, and the price elsewhere, I'm still very tempted to buy. But do I need it?

Eh?

Nowhere near a metre in radius. That would make it 2m (nearly 7ft) across in all directions when packed.

Website says 49cm radius.

Did you mean diameter?

Online stock checker says none in stock in any UK store so I think offer has expired.

A quick random check shows Enfield and Burgess Hill still have them, and I didn't check the whole of the UK.

What u using to check stock levels online?

Bear in mind this only really sleeps 3 people- as is the case with nearly all '4 person' tents. A number of the reviews back this up.

If you really need a short stay tent to take 4 people I would recommend something like the Vango Apollo 500- labelled a 5 person tent but you really need something this size to take airbeds for 4 people. They have a RRP of £120 but I bought one last year for £50 in a sale. This takes about 10 minutes to put up and will do a much better job than a Quickpitch, particularly as it has a porch area. I use it for en-route overnight stops and have a big Outwell tent which takes much longer to erect for long stays.

I hope some people have managed to get one at this price.
I have just checked the stock checker and after putting in my postcode it says their is none left in the Dunfermline store but it is in stock in the next 4 closest places to me (kirkcaldy, hermiston gait, seafield, livingston).
Infact i have just put glasgow into the search and the first 5 stores all had stock according to the stock checker.

Yeah same here, if anyone can confirm that when you get to store the £45 reserved price gets scanned through at £30 that would be really helpful... and save a journey!

Thanks OP. Have been looking at tents for summer camping in Cornwall. Have done a fair bit of camping in the past being ex forces and I am pretty impressed with this. The chap above mentioned a 10 minute put up for a non quickpitch tent. Well that's ok if you've got adults helping. Plus it makes a big difference if you've got experience camping or not. I won't be camping with other adults, I'm taking my juniors with me bodyboarding/surfing, so I need to be able to throw something up without assistance.

I've put up plenty of shelters/bashas/tents and this is the easiest thing I've had to put up ever. We just set ours up outside this afternoon and the kids did assist and it took us less than 10 minutes first go. I reckon 5 minutes next time. Very solid tent when put up and I am convinced that it will take a good bashing if used in crap weather and with the guys well secured.

There are definitely better tents yes, but for this money and if you want a summer tent that can literally be 'thrown' up. Then its ideal and a complete bargain. On the topic of how many people you can get in it; well provided you have the car for your other gear then you'll comfortably sleep 4 average sized adults. If you need extra room than just for sleeping then get a bigger tent. All tents that are described by berth account for the maximum number of bodies can lie side by side.

By the way, none at Reading or Winnersh (had the last at Winnersh) and it was £45. Still excellent value for money.

Two in Rochdale this morning - both had £50 stickers and were showing as £50 at the checkout.

Cheers chipmunk, that's my closest store with stock..... if you reserve it online you get 10% off, but good to know that this clearance price hasn't been applied.

Thanks again

iv just got back from two nights in galloway forest park. summer camping is so last year, spring camping with a frost turning to glorious sun, with no a single midge is the way forward

Just picked one up from Halfords in Sheffield ...someone picked the last one up on show in the shop but we asked if they had anymore and there was one in the back..... had £50 sticker on and also 50% off marked price...scanned at £25 bargain ...
thanks OP

My mum was after one like this, but on Sunday found one made by a company starting with Q, can't remember the name! Anyway, not only does it pop up but it also has a cord you pull and it goes back down into the right shape, seems a great idea! Cost £57 for a 4 man one though, from some big sports warehouse in Nottingham (Decathlon?).

that'll be the quechua range. French brand and supposedly very good when you put a 'base seconds' porch with one or two of the small tents.

After saying I couldn't find any in stock I re-checked my local store in cannock and one had become available but at the online price of £45. I still bought it though

If you're the guy who reserved the only one at cannock but didn't collect it I'm sorry to say its mine now

Just bought this from Sunderland, was £45 not £30. Still think its a good deal! Needed a good tent for Glasto

I checked out the Kirkcaldy branch last week, they had loads in the shop but they were scanning at £50. I popped through to Dunfermline the next day and managed to get the last one on the display stand for £30 ! bargain !
