Showing as £13.50 plus postage for me, am I missing a code or something?
*yawns* @ newbie
Yup thats stupid so you must just like being a glory hunter that tracks down other peoples finds :) cya
That's stupid? Nobodies going to see it unless they're interested in the original item? Using your logic why do we bother with the hotukdeals site at all? Why even have a forum? Why not just one thread labelled 'Deals! Post here!' and expect anyone looking for anything to read through every deal that anyone saw fit to post? Lol
Thanks for the post. Considering going for the 4DS pop up tent... Problem is that this brand (As mentioned earlier) is owned now by Sports Direct and you can tell by the Gelert website where the RRP are inflated and then they reduce it to make it look like a bargain (Pretty much how they run the Sports Direct website...and in store too!!!!) Decisions decisions...
ANY bivouac, single skin tent of any description will condensate unless they have no waterproofing at all. It's the water resistant lining/ coating that stops the water from escaping. Two people within it will certainly make the matter worse. Good venting will reduce the effect, cold days will increase the effect. This has nothing to do with the manufacturer or the price, just saying. Spend a lot and there are gortex single skin tents that will breathe.
Even without rain you will still get wet in these tents be warned
A welsh company since 1975, selling value for money camping kit, only latterly bought by Sports Direct .
Wouldn't buy from Sport Direct whatever the price
"Fabric:outer:185T polyester with waterproof of HH1500mm" Good luck with that if it rains.
Yep Received it today, comes with shoulder straps. Quite easy to carry (_;)
Have you received it yet? 96x96x6cm sounds like an awkward size if you're carrying it anywhere.
Hope you gelert of it alive.
Got this for about £37 from halfords when they had a 10% off (inc quidco) which is double skinned and served me well at Glastonbury. There is a knack to putting all these pop up tents away but once you have it they are great. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductMobileDisplay?catalogId=10151&langId=-1&categoryId=299603&productId=836807&storeId=10001
It's not all bad if you want quality stuff for the more frequent outdoor enthusiast then they will buy elsewhere but for the occasional user things like karrimor , muddy fox , gelert etc are perfectly adequate . Horse's for courses
Cheers for the heads up. I avoid any company to do with SD. Somebody should setup a Web site where you can type in a Sports or leisurewear company name and it tells you if sports Direct own it. At this rate they'll be no decent companies left.
Campmania are doing them for £134.99. http://campmania.co.uk/Item-7-28-cat-0-brand-660-Gelert_Ottawa_4.aspx
Ah, the blue one is £220... However I bought the green version for £135 plus p&p yesterday. Must of sold out, sorry!
Shows £220.99 for me
Looks exactly like intek. Does it last any longer?
I wouldn't expect you to have been sleeping on it for over a year without getting off it....
Aldi have a kingsize extra deep airbed with integrated pump. It comes with 3yr warranty and a carry bag for £35 Oh and its intex too
There's a joke in there somewhere.
Have been sleeping on this for over a year on and off now and it's fantastic, initially after pumping it up, it lost a bit of air through the night, i thought it had a leek, but put a bit more air in there and it stays up for a week. (prob more) really comfortable and doesn't take as long as you would think to hand pump it....
reasonably sure this is part of the Sports Direct empire so check out Gelert and Karimor on SportDirect.com. Should be same price. not voted hot or cold since i have not looked and found anyone else selling these same sleeping bags for a higher (or lower) price...
The bag arrived... its very toasty.. very happy with the quality for the money... My kit is getting heavy though... hate to think how much this upcoming micro adventure is gonna cost me... also hate to think how much hot uk deals has made me spend on 'bargains'.
The cost varies...... like everything, you have to shop around to get the best deal.
And the cost of a four season down filled sleeping bag is....?
The best bags are down filled...... best for thermal properties and pack down to the smallest size. You cant get em wet though.
Doesn't make sense does it !!
