Wrong substance, try coke....much nicer

Here's some heat Dave. I have a voucher for Tescos though that I need to use (£6 off a £40 shop) so I might go via tescos instead. It looks to be a quid more at present.

Quality stuff this, nice find!.

Been this price at Asda for more than a month now, and is a damn good price. This is my usual xmas tipple, but gone for the Woodford Reserve this year, which seems to be very well reviewed and a quid cheaper in Asda.

With standard JD, yes.

With this? Don't be so sacrilegious!

^^ what he said ^^

very nice this stuff. Slam it in the fridge, drink it neat and you're good to go

have some heat.

Merry Christmas

Agreed, but I had to respond to the mere suggestion of adding heat to it

I'm no heathen...honest

Oh I was heading more in this direction with the Crown reference; crownpaint.co.uk/en/…ils?colourDetail={A6CC3C8A-1FA7-4D2B-AE20-0618F9FCE41C}

This is still the blended JD, just filtered a bit extra. To be honest, … This is still the blended JD, just filtered a bit extra. To be honest, there's not a lot of difference in taste. It's the single barrel JD that's sacrilegious to mix.

I find there's a lot of difference in terms of the quality, texture and taste of this as opposed to standard JD.

Single Barrel shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath though. That needs its own spot...may get a bottle one day!

Got one a few years ago when our wee boy was born (bottle was for me, not him). I was dubious before tasting it, but it is superb

Anyone tried the Sinatra Select?
Edited by: "BigDaveH" 16th Dec 2014

Thats a really good price, paid £40.00 a few years ago in duty free.

Decent enough whisky, to much of a Jack daniels after taste for me

good price. Thank you

This is the best Jack I've tried for drinking neat, single barrel was awful IMO. I however have gone with the Woodford Reserve this year, £1 cheaper than this at asda and with fantastic reviews everywhere you look.

Great deal, my husband loves JD, will have to get him some for Christmas

Think it was a normal bottle and the Sinatra was developed with his family.
