Get one of these while you can!

Whether you are lucky enough to own a BMW or not, this will still work on your car on these icy mornings.

Ice scraper with aluminium handle and different scraping edges for ice, rime ice and slush, overall length 22 cm.

Apparently it might come in a different colour. And before you ask, I haven't a clue what 'Rime' is. LOL

Make sure you check before ordering this scraper

My bmw is useless in the snow so not really any need for this

Surely if you own a BMW you won't need this as you won't be able to get off your driveway in any snow and ice

A nice accessory to my BMW :-)

Ordered & Thanks

Might I suggest that is exactly why BMW are selling them off cheap on eBay?8)

Dont worry I think you can get a converter for it

what does RHD mean and what will this do if you use it on a non RHD?

erm Right Hand Drive g'nite

well lets hope we don't need to use it that often.

no it will invalidate your insurance

Bought 3. That's my Merc, BMW and Porsche sorted.

Ordered. Bargain!

Winter tyres. Apparently they work wonders according to my European colleagues who struggle to understand how we survive without them (_;)

'Rime' Ice !! thanks to Wikipedia.

"Hard rime is a white ice that forms when the water droplets in fog freeze to the outer surfaces of objects. It is often seen on trees atop mountains and ridges in winter, when low-hanging clouds cause freezing fog"

Rime is Ice crystals forming a white deposit (especially on objects outside)?

Have some heat OP. I had a ton of fun driving my BMW in the snow last year. Hell I even made it up a 2 degree incline! Still, at this price it beats the cheap plastic Halfords one

My X5 did OK in the snow last year but I still won't buy one of these. Can't reach the bloody windscreen to use it.

I bought this last time it was posted on here. When it arrived I was very disappointed, the scraper edge is not very wide at all (had a quick look but can’t see the width on the ebay page) it will take a few passes over the windscreen. Build quality was not that impressive for BMW even though it was just a few quid. Happy to give mine to anyone on here if they live in Newcastle, I will be using my old one from Poundland this winter!

Hot, but don't need one, my Bentley has a defrost function and if that fails my chauffeur will have to do it manually.

Will it clear ice from my indicators and mirrors too? Wait, hang on, no need don't use 'em anyway!

Cheers! Heat! Can't wait to eradicate that damn rime!oO

Got one for my Audi - Cheers

Hot. Ordered. Cheers OP

Winter tyres make a huge difference, my old 1 Series had them on and breezed through te snow last year. I saw Range Rovers struggling on the same route ...

Will it do the same job for a Mini Cooper??

Damn RWD sucks in the snow

Am I the only one that thinks this is a bit of a crap deal?

My free eBuyer one does the job fine for me and everywhere seems to be giving them away this year!!

A BMW ( or any RWD car ) is/will be harder to drive in snow/ice than a FWD or 4X4, however not impossible, a driver simply needs to adapt eg pulling off in 2nd rather than 1st etc ( if Manual / not Steptronic Auto equipped )

Exactly...Only NEW winter drivers will need a NEW scraper

Don't forget the 2 year warranty (_;)

Use a CD case.
