I recently bought a refurb Huawei Mate 20 Pro from a deal on here. It came boxed but was missing the charger that allows you to do the super fast charging.

Found a genuine one in Amazon for just under a tenner and it's amazing. Charges the phone so quickly (the lock screen indicates that it's super charging and you can literally watch the charge increasing by the second). Think the RRP is over £30.

Comes unboxed but clearly new) OEM style packaging).

There's a few different sellers available at similar prices, I bought from Amazon themselves (you may need to select the drop down to see all sellers).

Free delivery if you have prime

Thanks to MrSwitch for encouraging me to post this as a separate deal after I mentioned it in another thread.

Yeah I saw those, but personally decided I'd rather pay the extra few pennies and be confident I was getting a genuine one.

OK but I went for this

This has 90 Watts shared over 5 ports of Quick Charge 3.0 with advanced VoltiQ technology which is compatible with the quirky Huawei QC spec... They do not adopt the Qualcomm standard for some reason.
Anything similar for iPhone ?
The Tronsmart is IOS Quick Charge compatible. It's a really great device if you have more than one charging requirement. It exceeded my expectations!
This is super cheap! I ended up spending a fortune buying two from MobileFun as they were the only ones selling official ones at the time. £35 a piece!

The Supercharge car charger is fantastic for on the go top up charge. So so fast!
Super fast charging, even when temperature monitored is never going to be good long term for your battery. For top ups occasionally but not every night and try not to go less than 40%. 4 × 80%-100% charges are better than 1 × 20%-100% as far as the batteries chemistry is concerned, both count as 1 charge cycle.

Because they push more watts through. So it's not as good as Huawei, also need to pay the QC license fee which is around £5 per device.
I'm almost certain this isn't the 40 watt charger. The model number of the 40 watt charger is HW-100400B00. I'm looking at mine right now

The OP has stated it says 'Super charging' when used so must be legit.

There are two types of supercharge by Huawei just to confuse things - the 20w as per p20 pro the new 40w which debuted on the mate 20 pro.

37188827-j0TQM.jpgThis is the actual one I received. Labelled as 4.5A and definitely works as a super charger (phone displays a different message and charges really quickly! )
37188869.jpgHere is mine. This one came with my retail mate 20 Pro. It charges 5-100% in 1 hour! And is on eBay for about 15 quid. If I took this photo badly let me know

You can see the output is different - mine does 10 volt 4amp max compare to 5 volt 4.5amp max.

Who does your unboxing videos then
I'm confused then! Still, it works super quickly in real life so I'm happy. I suspect that the full power can only be used for a relatively short period of the charge cycle anyway and it lessens as the charge increases.
The P20 Pro and mate 20 pro both have supercharge ability but the mate 20 pro has an upgraded version.
They are both compatible with each other but the mate 20 pro charger will charge the mate 20 pro faster than the P20 charger but the mate 20 charger won't charge the P20 Pro faster than the the P20 Pro charger.
The P20 charger.... Oh forget it
I was looking to buy one but it seems Huawei doesn't sell it on their store or at their authorised resellers. So I wouldnt trust the claim for it to be genuine and second reason there are many sellers selling it if you Google it. It's just another copy looks like, it may do the job however if your just happy with something that works.

If you're a charging nerd like me and want the 40 w charging... I love it haha. I agree tho supercharge 22w charging is amazing already and is still quicker than quick charge 3.0 on Samsung and suchlike.

That's why I bought from Amazon as the seller (not just the fulfiller). There's plenty of criticism that can justly be levelled at Amazon, but I really don't think they're in the business of selling fake goods as themselves. As I said, these come like OEM items without packaging. I've zero reason to believe they're fake.
Is this backwards compatible with Huawei's Fast Charging Plus (FCP) that is on the P9?

I've no idea I'm afraid. But they've got genuine one listed for the P9 which one of the questions says supports fast charging. That's even cheaper at about 7 quid (again choose your seller carefully to make sure you get a genuine item. Amazon are listed as a seller for £7.12 (plus postage if you don't have prime)

Thank you
I got one of these last week and it does "quick charge" not super charge. I get the double lightening mark when charging and the screen states "quick charging"

Correct, this is the 20W version. If you have the Mate 20 Pro, you'll want the 40W version.
Would this work for the p20 pro?
Questions from a noob:

The 20w is still plenty fast. Doesn't make double the difference as one might assume. Charges a few minutes faster from empty.
It starts to drop charging speed as it gets charged.

It will charge any phone any normal speed but Huawei's with supercharge capability at full speed.
According to Huawei it doesn't affect battery longevity.
